I stayed so you don’t have to.
Cons:

Booked here because it is close to the airport.
Miss Chau, was very efficient and pleasant in booking us in, but from there on it went down hill.
A large school group booked in at 8.30pm (evidently large groups are common for this hotel) with students constantly screaming, yelling and banging on doors till 1:22am and starting up again at 5:18am. Despite complaining to the night clerk at 11.40pm, I ran into others that were also disturbed, nothing was done to remedy the situation. I asked that he contact the teachers, he refused, he didn’t want to wake them.

The hotel has a cavernous interior where noise travels easily between floors via a void on one side with tiled floors, bare walls and inferior hollow doors, offering no noise protection. In the morning the hotel sets up breakfast on the 7th floor at 5:00am, with the noise travelling down the interior wall to lower levels, adding further to sleep disruption.

My advice, if you’re looking for sleep and rest, don’t stay here. I cancelled a further 2 nights booked here for the following month.

Parfait pour sa proximité de l’aéroport et des restaurants
Pros:

Un établissement tout proche de l’aéroport. Le personnel est très gentil. Les chambres sont propres bien équipée. Belle décoration. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas très grand mais ça suffit. Soupe très bonne.
En face d’un magasin 24/24 !

Alles ziet er echt netjes uit. De manager houdt alles goed in de gaten en is steeds behulpzaam.

Pros:

There's absolutely nothing I didn't like, this hotel is one of the best, close to the airport and many other attractions, the buffet breakfast is second to none, the staff are friendly, extremely helpful and much more. I've stayed here numerous times, it always my first preference. Thank you everyone at The Thanh Long Hotel.

I can't say, something in there was REALLY bad. But this hotel was the least liked hotel I've been to. When we came, we were told we were not allowed to eat in the room, and I never heard such a thing in a hotel.
Specially booked room with a balcony, BUT it was connected with other rooms, no place where to sit in there, and honestly, the balcony looked more like designed for fire escape stairs then for someone to relax in there. Oh, and also cameras in the balcony.
Breakfast is another disappointment, but this time MAX. After the first day's disappointment, on the second day I decided not to go. But my boyfriend went and felt bad after that.
On check out we were told we cant leave the hotel without them checking if the room is ok. I understand that, but how it was said made us feel like the biggest thieves. Overall, the only hotel we were unhappy in Vietnam, and the ONLY one good thing in this place was security guard, who always made us laugh and was welcoming.

Cons:

Location is not great for travelers, though I suppose it depends what you're after.
Street noise is very intrusive. It is in a business district, but when the fabrication business began cutting and grinding steel at 4.00am that was a bit much.
