Noisy all the night even with earplug and on the early morning due to work in progress

Too many things to list. This is a “contactless” hotel, meaning there aren’t any staff present to help you in case there’s something wrong with the amenities. In our case, the AC was broken. No one got back to me about the issue and so we just had to sleep in a hot and stuffy room.

The location is continent, but the hotel is also right next to three student bars that close at 4am. The downstairs is also a restaurant. The hotel provides free earplugs. But unless you have noise-cancelling headphones do not expect to sleep comfortably.

The noise was terrible for me. The room was facing the square, so had noise from 2 restaurant/nightclub venues til 3am. Also the constant banging of doors from downstairs & the noise funneling up the stairs from their own restaurant was too much for me.

Nearby late night businesses, seems catered to nearby student associations. Loud until as late as 4 in the morning and leave broken glass outside the hotel

De ramen hadden enkel glas. Het hotel zat aan het druk uitgaans plein waardoor het erg lawaaierig was, ondanks oordoppen in hebben we slecht geslapen van het rumoer tot na 4u.. om 4:30 ging de televisie spontaan aan.

One bedside wall light was not working. Instead of fixing it/changing the bulb, they brought a large table lamp which took up most of the horizontal surface on the bedside table. The hotel was not ground level but up a steep flight of stairs. Our room was on the first floor (European terminology that I as an American mistook for ground floor).

Unacceptable levels of noise from nightclubs & bars directly outside hotel. Noise continued to after 3am each night.

You must tell them that there 30 stairs to the top floor and the stairs are very narrow. People who have difficulty walking or climbing or if you are carrying heavy luggage you should not book your upper floor. One set of stairs is manageable for us but two sets was tough. they are so narrow your foot cant really fit on the stair and they are very steep. The biggest issue was the noise. There are several open air bars right outside the front of the hotel. The people drinking and partying make an extreme amount of noise plus there’s disco music thumping. They do this until 3am and then the clean up crew and machines start cleaning. It doesn't get quiet until 5am. If you close all the windows it is bearable but the room gets stuffy so for those who like fresh air they should not book the hotel rooms facing the front or wear noise canceling headphones. Tho hotel supplies cheap earplugs in the room but they don’t work. One more thing if you like flat or mushy soft pillows you better bring yours the pillows provided re super thick and so my neck was really bent. The room was nice, it is well located as far as walking around town but to me a hotel room is all about getting a good night sleep and that never happened for us. Now if you book the back rooms on the you should be fine except for the stairs. See the attached picture , this was taken from our widow.

Le système d’ouverture sur téléphone uniquement (ne pas l’oublier dans la chambre, penser à le charger en journée). Ce serait bien qu’il y ait des cartes dans la chambre.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il Brass Hotel il mese scorso e l’esperienza è stata purtroppo molto negativa. Ci teniamo a condividere questi aspetti affinché i futuri ospiti siano pienamente consapevoli di cosa aspettarsi.
Assenza di servizi e di reception: Non si tratta di un hotel. La struttura consiste semplicemente in alcune camere situate al piano superiore di un ristorante, raggiungibili tramite una scala molto ripida e senza ascensore. Non esiste una reception, né un punto di riferimento o un'insegna. Essendo arrivati prima del check-in, non c'era nessuno ad accoglierci. L’assenza di personale sul posto si fa sentire: la responsabile non si è mai vista e ha mostrato ascolto solo a seguito di mie insistenti richieste.
Layout e dotazioni della camera: La sistemazione assegnata era del tutto priva dei requisiti minimi di comfort. Di fatto non c'era un vero bagno separato: due lavandini erano posizionati direttamente di fianco al letto, il WC si trovava in un piccolo vano e la doccia era ricavata in una nicchia nella stanza. Inoltre, le vetrate della camera erano completamente fisse e non apribili, rendendo impossibile il ricircolo d'aria naturale e costringendo a tenere l'aria condizionata sempre accesa.
Rumore e maleducazione durante la notte: La posizione sopra ai locali della piazza genera forte rumore fino a tarda notte. Trovando i tappi per le orecchie sul comodino si intuisce che la struttura è ben consapevole del problema, ma non lo rende chiaro in fase di prenotazione. A questo si è aggiunto il comportamento inaccettabile degli altri ospiti, che hanno fatto schiamazzi e sbattuto continuamente le porte per tutta la notte. Senza una reception o un presidio a cui rivolgersi per far rispettare il riposo, la notte è stata invivibile.
