Excellence All Round
Pros:

Everything. Very clean, well appointed room ( I was given a free upgrade to a deluxe room). Room was facing the road but soundproofing is excellent so it was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful too with lots of choice and I was well looked after. Thankyou to all the hardworking staff.

Cons:

Having to leave... But will be back next time I stay in Newcastle

This hotel has all the facilities we needed, and very friendly staff.
Pros:

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and cleaned to a high standard. The breakfast has a wide range of options which caterers to all our needs within a group.
We will continue to use this hotel in the future.

Continental breakfast was fine, not great in any way

Cons:

One of the rooms had a powerfully bad smell that didn’t dissipate even with the window open. Pillows were lumpy, duvet felt empty at the edges like it was just a sheet but it was so overheated in the room I didn’t get cold at least. An alarm went off in one of the rooms nearby every hour which was bizarre! I heard it after breakfast when packing up too. Maybe it was in an empty room??

Excellent welcoming hotel
Pros:

Comfort of bed and facilities in room and cleanliness super. Breakfast in the breakfast restaurant was fantastic and catered to my dietary needs. I required gluten free options.The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming in the restaurant and in the bar..which created a lovely atmosphere.

I can find no faults.
