観光の中心地マクロードガンジから東へ10キロ程に位置し静かな山間地です。
部屋は綺麗で快適に過ごせました。
日本食も種類豊富で美味しいです。
スタッフは、協力的でこの宿をお勧めします。
晴れていれば雄大なヒマラヤの山々を眺めれます。

Peaceful Stay with Warm Hospitality in Norbulingka
Pros:

Really hospitable and cooperative staff. The location is quiet and peaceful, just a 1-minute walk from Norbulingka Institute. The mountain-view room is perfect for soaking up the winter sun — it’s my go-to recommendation for friends and family visiting Dharamshala.

I booked this place at short notice due to weather and road conditions. The owners are a very friendly Japanese couple. The room was the most comfortable I've ever stayed in India, with all sorts of thoughtful touches and a wonderful mattress. The restaurant food was also excellent. It was a very convenient walk to the Norbulingka Institute.

Thank you for all their assistance during my stay. Highly recommended.

Felt very good and homey here.
Pros:

Lovely cozy clean good vibration place. The owner - a Japanese lady - is friendly and helpful. So is the staff. The bed and the sheets are lovely - so comfortable and most importantly clean and washed! Bathroom is clean and everything works. The balcony in my room has a lovely sunset view. The food is also fantastic and reasonably priced. Its a stone's throw from Norbulingka and few nice restaurants in the vicinity. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

My room faced the road. So I could hear traffic (which is not a lot given that the guesthouse is on a small inner road) and people talking downstairs and on the road. Its not the worst, but not quiet. Nights are quiet though.
The fan in my room upon was not working. The owner called an electrician to fix the fan. The geyser was also not working so not hot water. This should be checked by the management before renting the room. Bot the fan and the geyser not working reflects badly on the management and staff. The owner kept saying - I didn't know. Well, she should know, shouldn't she? If the facilities in the room are not working? They did send an electrician but overall management was a little lax for both the issues.
