This place is a Sri Lankan gem! Thank you very much to Bharatvir and his entire team for making us feel very welcome and special. Everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Everything was outstanding...the peace and quiet, beautiful room (thank you for the upgrade!), location, cocktails (so good!), pool, service, and food. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable and the bed linens were top notch. The decor throughout the hotel is very thoughtful with many beautiful antiques and pieces of artwork. The overall vibe is perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

the beach is not accessible, you have to travel 3km to the next beach. That was the only downside. Make sure you are not in the groundfloor rooms, they are very dark

Bharatvir and his team were truly exceptional. Amazing location. Food was some of the best we experienced in Sri Lanka. Happy to help with activities and taxis.

Only very small negative was the in house cleaning could have been better but this did not impact our stay.

Class all the way! Bharatvir and his team (special mention to Randhikar and Nirmal) went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel at home. The property itself is beautiful with an outlook to match. The food was exactly what we were hoping for, homely and delicious. The only drawback is we stayed here in the start of our Sri Lankan holiday and are afraid the benchmark has been set very high.

The premises does not have direct access to a beach, so we had to visit nearby hotels with access to beaches and facilities.

This hotel offers a wonderful personal experience, with a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude. When we arrived Swati the manager gave us her number and this was how any requests were dealt with, from room service to sundowner drinks on the terrace or booking the Spa. Service is definitely their strong point and all staff were great but in particular I would mention Arshad. A knowledgeable quiet man who delivers fantastic service.
The breakfasts were made to order and delicious with plenty of options. Dinner was also made to order, certainly one of the best meals we had in our month in Sri Lanka.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back.

The hotel was a beautiful space, we loved the furnishings and the overall atmosphere. The staff were lovely; everyone was very friendly and super helpful. The food and drink options were really standout - we had breakfast every morning, dinner one night, and cocktails and loved it all.
The setting is lovely on the lagoon but it is a little way out of town so you will need a Tuk Tuk to get on. The lagoon setting also means there are lots of mosquitos which limits outside time in the evening - however the staff are quick to provide repellent. The pool is really nice but there aren’t a lot of loungers so you can’t guarantee a sunbathing spot. However, there are plenty of other outside seating spots to enjoy
Atmospheric and superior service.
The hotel is in colonial style (not historical building but gives the atmosphere) in the quiet area. There is a mosque somewhere near, but their prayers are not that loud. The breakfast was freshly cooked and they prepared it not spicy like we asked.
There is a garden, that looks a bit wild, not cleaned from the old leaves. Could look nicer
