Nice homely appartment in downtown LA
Pros:

The area is fine - its downtown LA- around the corner there was some homeless people as said in other reviews. The gym is one running machine and cycling machine, these werent working, after a hard reset - got them going - but its a very small room in the basement - not great. We stayed in the 3 level accomodation - it was very nice, it had bunks on main entrance, double bed up a small stairs and big bunk downstairs - but no doors on any room, all a big open plan. We didnt mind that but might be useful to others. The kitchen table was nice. Plenty of towels and just one bathroom which was under pressure with 5 people. Apparently up to seven can stay in this room - so worth knowing about the single bathroom situation. Checkin and check out were grand. We parked on the corner in a multistory and it seemed cheap - 50 dollars for 3 days. WiFi seemed patchy but worked most of the time. Main telly had netflix, so that was nice. If I was going to LA - Id be happy to stay here again. Beds were clean / bathroom clean - decor was lovely with all the movie plates up everywhere, gave it a nice feel.

Cons:

The Gym could be better. Better descritpion of the rooms would be better, we were very unclear as to the number of beds but it was fine in the end. The surrounding area isnt great - but its downtown LA - so not really the hotels fault. Once we got the patio door open - we couldnt lock it again, the lock is a bit banjaxed.

Pros:

The separate bedroom and bathroom and full kitchen. There’s a bed in the lounge so would be suitable for a couple of friends.

Cons:

The air con was very loud, had to turn it off in the bedroom to sleep. The location was great for the metro to get around LA but I wouldn’t recommend if you have kids. The streets are full of homeless people and the aroma of cannabis even makes its way into the room. I didn’t feel unsafe but I would if I had been on my own.

The room was really nice, but the location, parking, and outside noise could definitely be better.
Pros:

I really liked the room! It was nice, comfortable, and honestly my favorite part of the stay. The inside of the hotel was decent overall, and I was happy with how the room looked.

Cons:

The location was a little questionable, especially since I had never been to the area before. I also had a hard time figuring out where to park, which was frustrating after such a long drive. My biggest issue was how much noise you could hear from outside. It honestly felt like I was right out on the street because of how loud everything was.
