Convenient, central, well-supported, and charming small hotel, with excellent staff.
Pros:

GOCO hotel is located centrally in Kyoto, right by Teramachi shops and Nikimichi market, and close to all transport. The staff are expert in the area, friendly and helpful in everything, and thoroughly charming people. The room was small (we were told this in advance -- there are larger ones also), but well-designed and comfortable, especially the bed. A specially welcome feature was the washing-machine, which was efficient and easy to use. The rooftop lounge is no doubt very pleasant to relax in, though the weather wasn't conducive to it when we were there. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Cons:

Everything was good.

The Friendly staff and location made our stay very enjoyable. Would stay again!
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location and short walk to most places. Very close to Nishiki Markets and shopping. The older gentleman at reception every morning was incredibly helpful and gave very useful recommendations and tips on how to get each place. The washing machine and drying racks in the shower were very helpful particularly after walking so much each day. The room was very clean, new and spacious enough for 2 people and our luggage.

Cons:

No breakfast, but they had many recommendations for cafes and places to eat if you were up early.

We enjoyed our stay. Was very comfortable
Cons:

Breakfast was not available. I blame Booking.com for the confusion. Your website said breakfast was included but the hotel did not have that service.

Best Stay in Kyoto from staff to location.
Pros:

This was an excellent stay in Kyoto. The location is unmatched, very close to markets and transportation. The staff were excellent and so helpful! They were very accommodating from extra pillows, to directions and recommendations. The washing machine was so helpful, and room was larger in size than we anticipated. Staff had our luggage ready in our rooms from being delivered and helped coordinate delivery to our next hotel seamlessly. During our two week stay in Japan, this was one of our favorite stops. Hope to stay again soon!
