Pros:

Pros:

The room was very comfortable and in a great location, but the staff were the best part about our stay. My partner and I got very sick with food poisoning during our stay, and the owners went out of their way to take care of us and make sure that we had everything we needed to recover. So grateful that we had such kind people looking after us during our stay here. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location, helpful staff, simple but great rooms.
Pros:

Amazing location for seeing Kyoto - Kawaramachi is close to heaps of Bars, record and vintage shops and great restaurants. Very nice and helpful staff, with good recommendations on local restaurants and transport. I was travelling with friends, the twin room was great and had a little table - the double room was a bit smaller but still great.

Made our trip to Kyoto unique and memorable
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and accompanied us to the room and gave us all tip how to use all communications. The room itself is quite comfortable and well equipped which make our stay feels like home

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great location - we would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

The twin room was compact but very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It was fantastic to have washing and drying facilities in the room as well as the little kitchenette. The location was brilliant - very central - right next to Nishiki Market in one direction and smart shopping on Shikoku-Dori Street in the other. The staff were lovely and so helpful - they very efficiently organised for our luggage to be forwarded to Tokyo. Highly recommend and would happily stay there again.

Cons:

Not a dislike but be aware that some of the rooms have no view - ours did but our son’s didn’t. He wasn’t bothered because other than sleeping we were mostly either out and about or gathered in our room. But worth asking at time of booking.

Perfekte Lage, direkt neben etlichen Restaurants und Shopping-Möglichkeiten.
Das Personal war extrem freundlich, bemüht und hat gut Englisch gesprochen.
Auch die Waschmaschine und die Möglichkeit die Wäsche zu trocknen war ideal.
Wenn ich wieder nach Kyoto komme werde ich definitiv wieder hier nächtigen, wenn es Zimmer frei sind.

Pros:

Centrally located hotel with very friendly staff. Room was on the smaller side but had all the necessary amenities, including a washer and a drier (which is a big plus during summer). Would definitely stay here again.
