Fantástico el mejor hotel que he estado en Japón, el personal de reception fue maravilloso y amable! Ubicación increíble, lavadora en la habitación, todo estupendo!

Staff and location
Very small room and bathroom
Yoshi went out of his way to help us with our car parking. Infact, all of the staff were amazing! The hotel is metres away from the market and lots of action.
Excellent location, very central, very calm. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always available to help, advise, make reservations, etc... like a concierge service in a luxury hotel. We were impressed. Thanks again for being so kind and welcoming. We hope to come back soon and will recommend you to our friends.
We know that rooms in Japan tend to be quite small. Our room wasn't enormous, but it was enough. We were surprised to find a washing machine in the room (convenient for quick freshen up of some clothes). The only thing that was missing was some space to store our clothes. If the property would install a few shelves on the wall that would make it more comfortable.
Great lolaction and staff
I cannot speak highly enough of my stay at Hotel Goco in Kyoto.
First, the location is absolutely perfect. Tucked away on a quiet side street, it offers the best of both worlds – peaceful and central. Many major attractions are either a short walk or a quick bus ride away. On top of that, there are several large department stores and shopping arcades nearby, catering to all your needs.
The highlight for me, however, was the cleanliness. I am very particular about hygiene, and I can honestly say I haven’t stayed in a hotel this immaculate in a long time. Truly spotless – no complaints whatsoever.
I was also impressed by the in-room amenities: a washing machine and a drying rack, which made laundry incredibly easy and convenient.
Last but not least, the staff were exceptionally attentive. I met an elderly gentleman who was the epitome of gentlemanly grace – well-mannered, knowledgeable, and respectful towards both women and men alike. I later learned he is the owner. His warmth and professionalism made the stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!
Good size room had washing machine which we needed and located close to everything
Nothing
Fantastic location, very helpful staff, comfortable room. Highly recommend.
Nothing
Excellent accommodation, well thought through with small kitchen facility and laundry facilities in the room and coffee making facilities in the lobby. Good size room, with balcony. Very friendly, helpful and efficient reception team who helped with tourist questions and luggage transfer. Very convenient location in lively part of city and nearby walk to historic Gion. Great eating options locally, including the sake bar (with tapas) very close by.
Nothing - all excellent
Sehr saubere und ruhige Unterkunft im Zentrum.
Sehr zuvorkommender Besitzer und das Personal ebenso. Wir haben hilfreiche Tipps erhalten. Vielen Dank!

From the warm welcoming staff to the great location we loved everything about this hotel
There is nothing we didn’t like
Amazing and super helpful staffs. Location is amazing.
This is a lovely boutique hotel very close to Nishiki Market, a crowded tourist spot full of interesting food and 'stuff'. The staff is wonderful, the hotel is relatively new (2020) and the tiny rooms are well appointed and meticulously cared for.
There are a few quirks: no coffee maker in the room, so you have to go down stairs and use a machine; a timed room cleaning if you stay 3 or more nights, so you have to be out for 3 hours; and a crazy clothes dryer system, where you hang your clothes in the shower room and a ceiling blower blows on them for 2 or 3 hours. Seemed rather energy inefficient.
It's pretty close to subway & train stations. There are two excellent restaurants just a couple of doors down: Bistro Nami and Yack and Yeti.
Overall, I felt the hotel was comparatively expensive. Kyoto has lots to offer and if this is the neighborhood you want you'll have a lovely stay.
This was our favorite hotel of the five we stayed at while in Japan. We visited with two 16-year-olds and the location was absolutely perfect to access local shopping and food. We explored all of the main areas nearby by foot, and only needed to catch the train/ bus as we wanted to visit historical or cultural locations further away. The area was safe, iconic, and offered many varieties of food and shopping. The rooms are larger than others we had in Tokyo, and we suggest upgrading if possible to the deluxe room, as it offered a larger window. The beds were so comfortable, and though the shower was a bit interesting, the water pressure and hot temperatures were fantastic. Beyond this, the staff was beyond helpful and kind. They had amazing food recommendations and helped us save money when needing a taxi as we left town. It felt like a family hotel-- the care and patience of the owners and employees was obvious.
No breakfast available, though they helped with recommendations in the area. The only trouble is that nothing nearby is open early in the morning. The common area inside is quite small, but there is a space on the balcony to congregate if the weather is nice.
Amazing hotel, our favourite of the trip. The location was brilliant and the staff were out of this world helpful!
