Was ok as I did not spend a lot of time at the hotel
Pros:

Staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Location - wish it had been closer to stores etc in the downtown area. Also my room did not smell "fresh". Walls are thin as I could hear the family in the next room and even heard them coughing.

Had a great stay
Pros:

The roof top bar was so nice, the shower was great and room was comfortable and clean

Cons:

The faucet in bathroom was set far back from sink so water went everywhere

Expected more from a downtown property...
Pros:

I liked that this location was not far from where I needed to go the next day. I also appreciated the hospitality from the night auditor, as he was very helpful. You could tell that the staff member who initially checked me in was just ready to go.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the room! For starters, you could tell the space in between the bathroom counter and the sink bowl had been neglected because it was moldy. There was also a stain on the couch ottoman. Not very inviting.

Nice room but stayed for pool which could not be used.
Pros:

new modern hotel

Cons:

I wanted an indoor pool for kids. It was cold as ice. That should be stated. I paid more for this hotel because of that. I could have stayed at another for almost half price including breakfast.

Poor service
Pros:

Locationand clean. We normally stay here when visiting the Winston Salem area.

Cons:

When we checked in at 12:45am the front desk ladies attitude was not pleasant. She seemed disturbed like we were bothering her. She was not welcoming at all! We reserved a King room
We checked into our king room and the TV was not working. So we had to switch to another room and were told they had no more King rooms available so we had to settle for a Queen room. The hotel made no concessions for our inconvenience.

Great stay...
Pros:

I loved the atmosphere and how nice the staff was.

Cons:

I didn't like how the indoor pool wasn't heated. My kids swam and froze their little butts off and the pool was the main reason we booked the place.
