Cons:

The streets around this hotel are dark at night, so would not recommend to female solo travelers.
In addition, the staff didn't speak a lot of English.
The beds are very firm. Not the best for me personally.

Great Stay with a Fantastic Onsen
Pros:

We had a great stay and were very satisfied. The hotel was clean, fresh towels were provided daily upon request, and the complimentary toiletries and coffee were a nice touch. The onsen was a real bonus and we also appreciated the comfortable pajamas, ice machine, microwave, cozy bed, friendly staff, and the opportunity to check in one hour early.
The location was very convenient, with supermarkets and many local streets within walking distance.

Bahnhof zu Fuß erreichbar. Nahe eines beeindruckenden Schreins gelegen und der Takayama Altstadt.
Hotel Standort. Zimmer für europäische Verhältnisse klein aber vollkommen ausreichend. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und außerordentlich freundlich. Frühstück japanisch und europäisch.
