Very good breakfast

Very friendly check in person at desk Amy was very welcoming, helped us with all our needs and was friendly and helpful. Amy was very pleasant first time at a hotel where the front desk person was so helpful. I would recommend highly to stay here. Clean rooms, hot coffee 24 hours, meets every need you have, hot breakfast. A must stay when we are in the area.....thank you Amy for all your help.

I visited Lindale on my way to see family and it was a nice time. Adrian was very helpful & the ladies at reception were super helpful when my family needed anything. The chef for the breakfast area was also very polite & friendly & was able to help one of my relatives accommodate with their nutritional needs. I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Lindale for a bit!

⭐️☆☆☆☆ Great Hotel, Appalling Customer Service from Amy

Everything about our stay at this location was wonderful, until it came time to check out.

We requested a 2:00 PM late checkout via the IHG app, which explicitly gives "club"members the option to select 2:00 PM subject to availability, and then double-confirmed it the day prior with two incredibly friendly front desk agents.

However, at 1:45 PM today (Sunday, July 12, 2026), we received a call from Amy from the front desk to the room phone. She didn't just call to remind us of the time; she came on the line completely heated, sounding genuinely angry at us for still being in the room.

When we explained that it had already been approved by her colleagues after being requested in the IHG app, Amy doubled down, aggressively arguing that "policy" only allows Club Members a 1:00 PM checkout and that the privilege is for "elite members only." If 2:00 PM isn't an option at this location, management needs to take that up with IHG corporate to fix the app, rather than letting their front desk staff harass guests who followed the rules. If we had been told 1:00 PM yesterday, we would have happily obliged.

Side note, the cleaning lady was visibly frustrated with us—which is completely unfair to her, as it was clearly just a total lack of internal communication from the front desk, and customer service isn't her job.

Meanwhile, Amy was still riding a high horse at the front desk as we walked out, lecturing us that we "should have known" to be out and continuing to argue right in front of my 8-year-old child. It was completely obvious that our 2:00 PM checkout wasn't creating any actual logistical crisis for the hotel; Amy was just on a power trip trying to impose her superiority over a possibly made-up local policy detail. We had to bluntly ask for her name just to get her to stop, but of course that only encouraged her to be less friendly.

We travel regularly for Softball Tournaments and have genuinely never witnessed such hostile, unprofessional customer service. The rest of the hotel staff and facility were great, but Amy has absolutely no business working in hospitality. We will never stay at this specific location again. Photo shared is simply to show there is no corporate policy against club members receiving 2pm late checkout when available.

Amy is the sweetest, most helpful lady ever! She was able to help us out and do so with a great attitude!

The staff was amazing we were trying to wash clothes and there machine broke while we were using it so called the hotel next door to see if we could go there and finish which they were lol as well and let us

The Breakfast is always good. The staff is helpful and kind. I haven't come across any staff member that didn't have a smile on their face. The hotel is always clean and smells good every time we stop. The air conditioner works GREAT!

Great location, comfortable beds, quiet and relaxing room. Everything was clean and updated. Room was spacious

This is our second time staying at this location and both times have been amazing. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. They are all super kind and helpful. The breakfast was hot and delicious! The eggs was like real eggs, much better than most free hotel breakfast. Both times we stayed we had the pleasure of Speaking with Amy at the front desk, she is always so friendly and helpful. She always makes the stay even better! Can't wait to come back!

Hi Both the Girls Prisicilla and Elizabeth were a Great help when I asked if they knew of a good place to place for dinner. So we went to the texas music city grill & smokehouse they told us about it was great and not far away . Thanks Holiday inn Express for having people like these Girls work for us

This is a nice hotel along Interstate 20. It's clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was great. Good coffee too.
