וואו- פשוט מדהים!!!!
Pros:

מלון מעולה במרחק הליכה מתחנת הרכבת המרכזית של האקונה.
חדר בסגנון יפני מסורתי-יפיפה, אונסן פרטי בקומת הגג מה שהפך את השהיה לחוויה מיוחדת.
חדר סופר נקי, מקלחת מפנקת פשוט חוויה.
מומלץ מאוד!

Fantastic boutique hotel
Pros:

This hotel understands that details matter. I stayed here for a night and loved these features: Amenities bar had sheet masks, claw clips and hair ties. Full skincare set in a pouch in room. Huge bed, looks bigger than king sized. Private onsen in room (I was on level 2). Quality toiletries. Oversized bath towel. Foot light in case you’re worried about stumbling over the step up to the bath area in the middle of the night. Proper hair dryer. Super comfy waffle pyjamas. Check out is 1pm so you don’t have to rush. And, they give you a giant 2L bottle of water! It was a pity I couldn’t carry it with me, but I refilled my bottle

Cons:

Do note: There’s no restaurant on site so plan your dinner ahead as most F&B closes early, town is dead after 6pm.
Bring a sleep mask in the summer as the light gets in even with the window blinds (there was no view, the window was opaque and had Japanese paper lattice. There’s also no common toilet at the lobby, go to the free loo at Lawson’s just up the road.

Gorgeous!!
Pros:

Oh my gosh, this property is stunning!! My husband feels it’s the best hotel room he has ever stayed in (and we have traveled a lot). We booked a standard room but it has a gorgeous wooden bath that fills with onsen water (Japanese deep style so fits one person). The aesthetics and furnishings are gorgeous modern Japanese (wood, stone and dark). The rooms are generous in size and well designed. The bed is huge (larger than a standard king). It was a great experience and highly enjoyable. The location of the hotel is great too. I highly recommend.

Toller Ausgangspunkt für Hakone Loop
Pros:

Eigener Onsen, bequemes Bett, kleiner Couch Bereich mit Smart TV und Tatami Boden. Sehr komfortabel und sauber. Viel Platz im Zimmer (wenn man mit leichtem Gepäck reist, mit Koffern eher unpraktisch). Bushaltestelle und Bahnstation sehr nah, praktisch für Hakone Loop. Einige gute Restaurants im Umkreis (Cocoro und Box Burger z. B.).

Cons:

Unser Zimmer hatte kein richtiges Fenster und somit kein Tageslicht. Es gibt auch Zimmer mit richtigsten Fenstern, diese würde ich eher empfehlen.

Absolute relaxation in one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed.

Everything was perfect! From the staff to the beautiful room to the relaxing open-air bath. 10/10 would recommend.

Mooi minimalistisch luxe hotel op loopafstand van station van Hakone
Pros:

Het hotel ligt heel rustig, maar op een paar minuten van de hoofdstraat van Hakone.
De kamer was erg mooi en strak ingericht, prima douche, apart toilet, fantastisch groot bed, voldoende stopcontacten met usb-uitgang. Het was een paar minuten lopen naar het treinstation en de 7/11 was nog dichterbij.

Cons:

Er was helemaal geen ruimte om kleding op te hangen of zelfs maar neer te leggen. Er is geen ontbijtmogelijkheid; je kunt ontbijten bij de buren, maar dat stelde niet heel veel voor. De kamer had geen daglicht.

Zeker gezien de prijs had ik meer verwacht van hotel Zagakukan
Pros:

Het hotel is relatief nieuw en goed onderhouden.

Cons:

-Geen natuurlijk licht in de kamer, geen mogelijkheid om een raam te openen.
-Zelfs op de laagste stand maakte de airco veel lawaai.
-Personeel was nauwelijks zichtbaar/bereikbaar. Tegen de afspraak in is de kamer niet schoongemaakt. Zonder succes geprobeerd contact te maken over waar kamersleutel achter te laten vanwege vroege vertrek.
