Pros:

The location is amazing, very central yet quiet. The breakfast is fantastic.

Cons:

The beds are really uncomfortable, the mattress is old and it gave us back pain.

It’s a value for money stay with excellent breakfast
Pros:

Great location 2 min from Galata tower but without any noise from the crowds !

The view of our room was amazing over the Eminonu side of the city !

The breakfast was super rich and tasty changing every day !

Cons:

The mattress was extremely soft with no proper support from the bed below so for belly sleepers it is was a difficult pose to take to sleep ..my body bended strangely .

some days the shower was smelling bad and some other too much chlorine

Look no further, this hotel has all your needs
Pros:

Perfect location as it was less than 5 minutes walk to Galata Tower from our room. About 10 mins walk to Istiklal street. For those fancy longer walks, it took about 30mins to get to the Sultanahmet area from the hotel. Despite the hotel being closed to a very busy street, it was quiet at night and minimal/no noise heard in our room. The breakfast was amazing with a roof top view. Sevgi Isik (Hotel Customer Relationship Officer) was extremely helpful and checked in with us to ensure all our needs were met even before our arrival to Istanbul. Sevgi even arranged a light breakfast for us as we had to check out before breakfast time. Reception staff was also attentive and helpful when we required assistance. Would stay at Meroddi again if we are visiting Istanbul in future.

Our stay at Melody La Porta Hotel was truly wonderful from beginning to end. Everything was on the highest level — the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the comfort, and especially the people who work there 🤍

Every time we entered the reception, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The staff made us feel not like guests, but like people they sincerely cared about. A special thank you to the lovely lady who worked during breakfast and helped in the restaurant area — always smiling, attentive, friendly, and incredibly pleasant. Her positive energy made every morning start beautifully ☀️

Breakfast was served as a buffet, and everything was delicious, fresh, and always available in sufficient quantity. Everyone can easily find something they enjoy — the selection was truly very good ✨

During our stay, one of us celebrated a birthday, and the hotel staff helped organize everything so warmly and thoughtfully. It was such a touching surprise and created memories we will never forget 🎂✨

Also, a very special thank you to Ms. Sevgi Işık for her kindness, care, and constant support during our stay. She always checked if everything was okay, stayed in touch with us, and was ready to help at any moment. Those thoughtful messages and attention to guests truly make a difference 🌸

The location of the hotel is also perfect — everything is within walking distance, and public transportation is very close and convenient. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable ✨

Thank you to the entire team for such beautiful hospitality. We left with only warm emotions and would gladly return again ❤️

The location is excellent, especially if you want to stay near Galata Tower. Room service was good—the room was cleaned regularly and the sheets were changed. We also appreciated the small Galata Tower figure given as a welcome gift, which was a lovely touch.

Cons:

What we didn’t like: Breakfast was alright, but the coffee could be better. The room itself was decent but could do with some improvement. The hair dryer was faulty and kept stopping every 10 seconds due to overheating; although this was reported and we were told it would be fixed, it remained broken throughout our stay. Also, the photos of the reception are not up to date.

Me gustó el alojamiento con peros.
Pros:

Está muy bien situado aunque cuesta encontrarlo y la calle está un poco asquerosa. Está justo detrás de la torre Galata.
La vistas del desayuno que se toma en la quinta planta son muy bonitas, el desayuno es variado.
Nos dejaron un regalito en la habitación muy curioso.

Cons:

El personal del desayuno no nos ha gustado, es de muy mal gusto ver a los camareros hablando por el móvil, viendo videos con la música súper alta (sobre todo cuando hay música ambiental), chillando todo el rato para hablar entre ellos, verlos ponerse a coger comida del buffet con las manos y comérselo por la sala mientras arreglan las cosas, estar cogiendo cosas y tener a una señora pegada a ti vestida de cocinera sin hacer nada más que mirarte.
El personal del desayuno deja mucho que desear, y estropea el desayuno.

Комфортные и чистые номера! Уборка каждый день, постельное тоже каждый день меняли! Завтраки вкусные, было все, выбор не огромный, но все что нужно, все было! Вид потрясающий с террасы и с номера с балконом! Девушка по работе с гостями, Башак, каждый день писала на ватс ап, уточняла все ли нас устраивает! Еще сделали подарок, статуэтку Галаты, магнит и лукум☺️🙌🏻👍🏻♥️ огромное спасибо всему персоналу!

Me gustó la ubicación ,cerca de la torre gálata ,la comodidad del hotel ,y el trato con los trabajadores muy bueno ,y sobre todo el detalle de bienvenida que nos dejaron en la puerta de la habitación ,la figura de la torre gálata ,unos dulces turcos y una postal .

Pros:

Awesome staff, very hospitable and helpfull. Hotel has perfect location and breakfast was diversified. I also got very nice welcome gift from the personell. Next time I am in Istanbul, I will definitely choose this object again.

Wer es wenig touristisch mag, kann von hier aus viele dieser Spots zu Fuß erreichen!
