Petersburg VA Hotel

This place should not be open to public until it gets an inspection to make sure it’s safe…. I paid for a un-refundable 5 days 4 nights online and when i got in the room I noticed it immediately smelled like they painted over some mildew in the room and painted over rust stains in the tub. There was no tv in the rooms, so you heard the people in the next room whole conversation. The bathtub was extremely dirty that I chose to use the sink over tub everyday. The bathroom walls had rust stains going down the wall and they only gave me one towel and was cloth my whole visit….. I never seen a housekeeper, and you had thugs hanging out on the side of the hotel all night. Bed felt like they had bedbugs and they had a desk in there with no chair. This was the worst hotel, I’ve ever been to

NOTHING.

So dirty and not healthy

I booked this hotel last Jan. 12,2021 then when I come to the day we need to stay Jan. 27 they told me the front desk that is already no available room.What a disgrace and shame to that hotel.

P.A. They change the Hotel name to TRAVEL INN.

Very Old and dirty.

It was good for overnight stay. I will book again returning from the trip.

The room was clean and comfortable for me and my family.

I want a refund. Someone tried to break into our room

Room conditions were abysmal, headboard was hanging by one screw on the wall and eventually fell. The towels/bedsheets didn’t smell/look clean. Room fan/ac was damaged but worked.

Bad service and room was just plain gross bugs and just nasty scene of horror movies no wonder why it says no refund when you reserve

I got to the hotel and they did not abide by my booking and did not give me a room

Back door broken and open to anyone. Sliders in room broken and open to anyone. Bed filthy and. It cleaned or made up. Bathroom unmentionable. I can’t believe this is a legal operation. We didn’t even stay longer than 10 min.

There were bugs.

This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. The lady at the front desk acted very rude because I was causing her to have to work by checking into the hotel. As I walked I to the room, the tv had been taken out but I could deal with that. There was urine in the toilet when I walked into the bathroom. The refrigerator was disgusting. There were bugs all over the place. In fact I didn't even take my luggage in because I wanted to keep them free from bugs getting in them. I arrived at the hotel about 10:30pm and was out the door by 2:00am because I just couldn't take the utter nastiness of the place. I would have tried to get a refund but figured it wouldn't ever happen so I left disgusted and slept in my car further down the road. DONT EVER STAY HERE

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Maybe it’s me but cockroaches, filthy shower and toilet is not normal in any place your spending money. I didn’t stay for more then 15 minutes and slept in my car.

It was after 10pm on. Saturday & my mother, myself & my 3 year old were traveling from South Carolina to New Jersey. We were tired & didn’t need a five star hotel, but also didn’t need what this place had to offer, which was nothing but disgust. The address once put in my GPS, took us to an abandoned gas station. Once we saw the hotel behind it, I figured I’ll check with them. The front desk lady told me that the address is for there & I was in the wrong spot. Once she took her time explaining the address to me & the confusion, she proceeded to take her time checking me in, which was all hand written paper work. It was already after 10pm. I was tired, my kid was tired, just wanted sleep. She was on the “hotel” phone & then her personal cell phone while “checking” me in. The elevator buttons were all hand written & there were markings & knife carvings all over the walls of the inside. Place was dated & definitely run down. Pictures are deceiving, like many hotels. Got to the room to check it out & couldn’t find a light switch. Finally turned on the bathroom to find many cracked tiles, a cracked sink, peeked in a little further to see the blankets on the beds barely fitting. The smell was bad too. I looked at my mom & said, “Nope. Let’s go.” Grabbed my 3 year olds hand & went back to the elevator. I didn’t go to the front desk to even say anything. We just left. I did not feel safe there & could not subject myself, my mom or my son to that. We then had to drive an hour.

Roach infested, food in hall of stairs, no towels, floor in roo. Unswept, beds had balck spots (think bed bugs) we left after 1 night and didnt complete the 3 nights. No microwave, bathroom outlets had no covers, exposed wiring

It went from bad to worse in minutes. I was traveling and tired trying to find a place quickly. The buildings was filthy, damages and no AC in the building. When i ispected my room it had existing damages, obviously damages. It was filty and there were cockroaches. I immediacy left and checked out. The pictures on tge ad were not what you will get.

The staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was some sort of leak which caused a wet spot on the carpeted floor.
