It was a great place from which to explore Barcelona. The staff were excellent

Really central, very cute boutique hotel

Cons:

Room was a bit small but otherwise very comfortable though perhaps a bit pricy for the limitations

Very enjoyable. Barcelona is a lovely city . Hop on/off bus was great for visiting the main attract.
Pros:

Great location. Very helpful staff. Good public transport options close by. Lovely roof terrace. Good breakfast. Comfy bed & pillows. Nice restaurants close by. We went one of the days by train to Girona (40mins on a clean comfy train) . Beautiful city would recommend the visit if you are visiting Barcelona for 3-4 days.

Cons:

Our room was very small. It was quite dark. The bathroom was small. The room didn’t have a window. It had a glass door leading out to a communal small balcony. At night we left the patio door open for air. We had to keep the curtains closed as the room was overlooked.

Super-supercontent met onze keuze voor Hotel Casa Luz!
Pros:

Superfijn hotel, het heeft ca 75 kamers hebben wij uitgerekend - maar het doet aan als een intiem boutique hotel. Nieuw, schoon en comfortabel. Mooi ingericht (mooie tegels, hout, keramiek). Fantastisch ontbijt op de bovenste (= 6e) etage waar je binnen kunt zitten met uitzicht, maar waar ook een fijn dakterras is en je bij goed weer buiten kunt ontbijten. Metrohalte pal voor de deur al zijn de meeste bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand.

Cons:

Eigenlijk niks. We hadden om een rustige kamer gevraagd en die kregen we: aan de binnenplaats, mét een leuk balkon met prachtige grote planten. De kamer zelf lag in een hoek en was wat donker - maar we hadden om een rustige kamer gevraagd en die hadden we zeker. Goed om te bedenken wat je voorkeur heeft: straatzijde (licht en vermoedelijk wat rumoeriger als je graag met raam open slaapt) of binnenzijde (donkerder maar rustiger).

Wat wel tegenviel - maar dan van Booking.com en zeker niet van Hotel Casa Luz: in de aanprijzing van dit hotel (en ook van een aantal andere hotels in Barcelona) stond duidelijk: "Inclusief luchthavenvervoer". Dit bleek bij navraag echter niet bekend bij het hotel. Misleidend en niet sjiek van Booking.com!

Semplicemente Stupendo!!
Pros:

Abbiamo soggiornato nella suite al 6 piano
Bellissima camera, personale gentile ed efficiente
ambiente pulito e ottimo ristorante..
