Great
Great place and host, pet friendly
Great small hotel in a finca with a nice garden. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff is extremely friendly and is trying to make everything possible. It feels like staying with friends.
Such a great find. Rooms are beautiful. Spotlessand very chic. Evening meal was very tasteful, washed down with a local bottle of wine. Breakfast , freshly made scrambled egg with bacon and a tasty continental selection of meat and cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice …… Staff couldn’t have been better. All very personal. This our third visit and we certainly will be back.
The suite obviously had an infestation and was cleaned with an industrial cleaning agent which stung my eyes as I walked into the room and made me gag - we requested another room but the chemicals were on us and eventually we decided for health reasons to leave the hotel and go elsewhere. The photographs shown on various websites were of better times - the garden was unkept and the hotel looked very sad.
Lugar encantador, trato excelente. Traquilo y acogedor. Sin duda, lo recomiendo!!
Pls stay away from this hotel. I have no clue how they got these good reviews. We arrived early afternoon and were shocked at the appearance. The entire place looked completely run down, in the garden two broken shipping containers, dirt and filth everywhere and the restaurant looked like nobody had used it for a long time. We were asked to wait for the receptionists who after a while showed up and told us that our rooms are at a different place. She then showed us the way to what appeared to be a private home and told us that this is our room (although nothing of this showed up in our reservation). The area of both the "Hotel" and the rooms are filthy and completely run down. We were told that for dinner we had to go back to the main hotel which we refused as the area just didn¨t look trustworthy. We decided to forfait the 220 Euros paid in advance and continued our journey. By the way, we have lived for many years in Spain, and in South America and are thus very familiar with both countries but have never experienced something similar. The entire situation appeared like a costly scam...
Una estancia super apacible. Con un personal ejemplar. Las estancias preciosas y el jardín muy bonito.
Perfect place to stay. Staff was excellent, really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Easy to arrive with car and comfortable bed, pillows, towels. We felt very welcomed and I'd return anytime.
We had the most amazing experience here. We stayed in the finca which we had to drive to which we were ok with although had we been staying a bit longer could have been a little inconvenient. However, more than made up for by hospitality, the food, ambiance and the overall experience for the whole family. We had dinner in the dining room and breakfast the following morning, both were incredible.
The property was quirky with a very interesting old car theme. The food was excellent and the wine too! As always, the friendly people made all the difference who were always helpful and attentive; particularly Cynthia who greeted us when we arrived and was an absolute delight.
We absolutely loved our stay in this charming little hotel. So friendly and super authentic. It makes a nice change from all the corporate hotels that are same same. Charming, authentic and comfortable. The dinner was delicious but perhaps a bit expensive. I wish more hotels like this were in operation. Loved it! 👍
A hidden gem ! Beautiful finca tastefully decorated with original features. Dog friendly rooms and even provided a dog bed for us ! Fabulous food and wine with a lovely outside chill out area. The owner has a fab collection of classic cars ! All of the staff were brilliant , with a big shout out to cynthia who was adorable and funny ! Will define back again x
Recomendo fortemente.
What a hidden gem! An incredible welcome from Pilar, Elenor and Alvaro for us and our two dogs! We were staying on our way down to Murcia and the hotel is only a few minutes off the motorway.
When we arrived we had a gin and tonic and very nice local beer in the sunny garden and we also ate on the restaurant. Starters of toasted vegetables and anchovies on toast and Iberian ham were delicious followed by a beautifully cooked sea bass was and perfectly cooked Galician beef. The Rioja was also really good.
The room was very clean, the bed super comfy and the shower was fabulous.
The added benefit was that Alvaro’s is a petrol head and has some gorgeous classic vehicles in the grounds including a great selection of VW camper vans including split screens and gorgeous pick-ups.
A fabulous place and we will be back!
A little gem! We loved it. Fantastic owner and staff, wonderful meal (much better than we ever expected). Highly recommend it to anyone.
What a charming place to stay. The owners were very accommodating and provided top quality service. It takes a lot to impress me but we would definitely like to stay here again when travelling to Spain.
Stayed here overnight with our 2 dogs on our way home from Spain to the UK. Fascinating place. Lovely garden for the dogs, bedroom large and comfortable. They have an onsite restaurant where a delicious home cooked meal can be eaten and breakfast was lovely, cold buffet style, although we were offered eggs and bacon. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel is very close to the motorway. I have already rebooked for September.
It was so lovely to stay in a place which was so unique. This hotel gives you a warm feeling inside. The staff welcome you into the family as soon as you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble, but I must stress they do not overwhelm you. Dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Every where was clean and the decor very tasteful. Already looking forward to staying again!
A two day stop over with my wife and twin five year old daughters to explore the city of Zaragoza. Wonderful, friendly hosts, excellent food for both dinner and breakfast. Cute wine cellar with good quality wines at very good prices. A stunning property, very clean well equipped rooms. We will be back again one day so our girls can play a little football with Bruno in the garden.
