We enjoyed “eco-glamping” in a geodesic dome!
Pros:

The breakfast was terrific. The hosts also made us a very nice box lunch for our outing the next day. They were very friendly and very helpful in every way. The property actually advertises themselves as an “eco-glamping” experience and the lodgings were cabins in the shape of geodesic domes. I hadn’t expected that, but it was interesting and the cabins were comfy. There’s a very nice view of the Llaima volcano from the property’s dining room, and we also had a very nice view from our cabin’s deck. I sat there and watched the sunset colors light up the mountain.

Cons:

The cabins aren’t supplied with hotel-like amenities such as shampoo, and our shower didn’t have a soap dish. I think these were comparatively minor issues. Wifi service is available in the main dining room but not in the cabins. Also (not the property’s fault) my iPhone navigation app sent us down the wrong road to reach the property, and I couldn’t get any cellular service near the property or in town, so I had to find the tourist office in Melipeuco to get correct directions.

Pros:

Unique buildings, quite a lot of space. Very calm environment, good breakfast with a view.

Cons:

In summer there are more things that can be used and were closed during our stay due to weather (e.g. pool).

Tranquilidad
Pros:

Excelente ubicación, alejado de todo en medio de bosque nativo. Carlos y Paulina son muy buenos anfitriones y están dispuestos a apoyar con cualquier requerimiento extra. Cada domo cuenta con su propia tinaja.

Cons:

Como temas a mejorar, se podría agregar un clóset y un lugar para colgar las toallas y ropa húmeda.
