Simple, reliable, with decent breakfast
Pros:

Good location, easy walk from Suburban station. Decent breakfast. Nice lobby experience (free coffee, water, breakfast in the morning). Front desk staff was very nice.

Cons:

A little dirty, but nothing crazy.

We loved the view!

Cons:

Breakfast was very packed! The set up was comfusing on where to ingress and egress, a sign would of been helpful. Bed pillows were 4 different sizes and uncomfortable.

Sehr angenehmes Hotel, sehr nettes Personal, Gute Lage
Pros:

Die Lage nahe an der City Hall und zu allen ÖV war sehr gut. Das inbegriffene Frühstück war gut und völlig ausreichend. Die Sitzgelegenheiten bei vollem Hotel sind aber eher wenig. Sehr schön ist die Lauch wo man an verschieden Sitzgelegenheiten sitzen kann und auch Lademöglichkeiten hat. Sehr angenehm ist auch das Wein, Bier , Käse Angebot am Abend der Wochentage. Vor allem wenn man gerade angereist ist. Fährräder kann man gratis ausleihen.

Our experience at the Element was fantastic from our quick check in to our departure, great hotel!
Pros:

The Element has a phenomenal location right downtown, Center City, close to everything so we were able to ditch the car all weekend and walk or take short Uber rides. The large hotel room was fantastic, like a suite with a small kitchenette, a very comfortable bed and a small living room area with a sectional. Extremely comfortable, great place to relax after walking around the city all day. The Element was also affordable, a terrific value.

Pros:

We may have been a bit spoiled by getting an upgraded room at check-in, but the room was really nice, with a great city skyline view of Philly at night. The breakfast was also great, and the location was perfect just a few blocks from the theater my wife and I were going to.

Cons:

Nothing major stood out. If anything, expectations might be a bit influenced if you get an upgraded room, but overall it was a very good stay.

Great place in a central location!
Pros:

It was centrally located and therefore within walking distance of many attractions in Downtown Philly.

Cons:

I’ll never get used to disposable tableware in American hotels. It’s environmentally unfriendly and makes you feel being in a fast food place, cheap!

If you can block out the external noises and /or sleep through it, the Element is an excellent place
Pros:

Luke, who works the front desk was extremely patient and informative regarding the use of SEPTA for transportation to Penn LIve. In fact, all the front desk personnel were wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding. Many options to choose from, staff quick to assist too. Valet parking was well managed and quick in helping us understand the valet system, new for us. The location was good in terms of being able to walk to the places we wanted to visit, Ben Franklin museum, Independence Hall, etc. But at night, the honking of car horns, loud voices on streets, loud motorcycles until at least 1:00 a.m. is something we are not accustomed to and our slept was not adequate. So, the location was 50/50. The room amenities were great even offering a toaster. Room was impeccable. We appreciated the extra security measure of having to use room card to access the floors. Romantic? Not by our standards due to the late night noise. We prefer a more country setting for romance but this trip was not for romantic reasons but tourist adventure.

Cons:

What we didn't like as mentioned above, is not within your control of loud traffic, horns, motorcycles and late night carousing.
