We were in Ellsworth visiting family for a couple of days and were looking for a hotel where we could see the ocean.
Pros:

Every employee we met was friendly and was knowledgeable. We had a second-floor room with a balcony that looked out over the harbor. The view was stunning and we spent quite of bit of time sitting and relaxing. Also, the hotel is very close to the shore and could be reached in just a couple of minutes. After walking along the shore, we returned to the lawn in front of our room and enjoyed the Adirondack chairs while watching a cruise ship depart. As the property is an old mansion, the rooms are decorated as such. We had a 4-poster king bed that was reached with a 2-step ladder. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to friends.
