Feel extremely cheated and disappointed

Absolutely nothing

Cons:

Property description is inaccurate. There is no beachfront access or pool as claimed in Booking.com description. The rooms and corridors were dusty. There is a lot of construction noise.

One of our worst stays ever.

Great views but could be better
Pros:

The location. Fantastic view over the Ganga. Very central and easy to wander out to shops nearby.

Cons:

There is quite a lot of work going on in the hotel. Cleanliness was not the best. There is quite a lot of dust in the passageways. Food was limited. Guests should be aware that there is only vegetarian food, no eggs served at breakfast, and no alcohol. This is due to the religious significance of the Ganga. We were not aware of it. Its not necessarily a problem but the hotel description did not state this. Rishikesh itself is highly congested with traffic and getting to any of the attractions is painful due to the traffic. This was not what we were expecting which was a peaceful retreat. It is far from peaceful. There is a lot of construction going on in the surroundings which spoils the experience.

Hotel with nice and comfortable rooms in a quiet area and close to the Centre.
Pros:

I was there during winter time and I appreciated that there was heating in the room. Also like the free yoga sessions in the morning. Hotel location was good, close to the center and many restaurants.

Cons:

The place gets very busy on weekends. If you are looking for a specific room it‘s best to reserve well in advance.

O Hotel é excelente. O Brekfast muito bom. Excelente vista para o Rio Ganges. Bem localizado. Ótimo custo-benefício.

Cons:

Muita comida apimentada, mesmo pedindo sem especiarias e sem pimenta, muitas coisas vinham apimentadas igual.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

I liked this hotel. It was a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Rooms was really beautiful, I loved the devour and view of Ganga river from the terrace exceptional.
I loved the buffet too. Great choice of food.

Cons:

Room was so dirty I had to clean it myself. Everything else good.

Loved every second of my stay here. I wish it could have been longer.
Pros:

I had the most incredible stay. The staff were all extremely welcoming and attentive. The room was beautiful with a gorgeous view. Room service was delicious and really quick. The restaurant and the staff exceeded my expectations. I’ve never felt more welcome at a hotel. I had two 90 minute massages with Ida, my body was melted from headed to toe with each experience. Thank you so much for a wonderful introduction to India to the staff at Antalya. I couldn’t be more grateful for my stay. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

I would pick some other property over this one.
Pros:

The view was good. Some of the staff were good. The food was good.

Cons:

The reception/reservation end staff were rude. There confusion regarding multiple things from their end which they failed to communicate to us. The building was not clean, this includes the rooms. We had to get the rooms cleaned again after we checked in. Hot water was a problem. Weird smells came from bathroom.

Pros:

Der erste Eindruck des Zimmers, die Möblierung wirken auf den ersten Blick hochwertig, sind allerdings qualitativ höchstens mittelmäßig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok.

Cons:

Das Bett ist durchgelegen, die Klimaanlage lässt sich kaum steuern und überhaupt nicht ausstellen. Sie springt nach kurzer Zeit immer wieder an und ist super laut. Die komplette Anlage, die Gänge, Treppen und vor allem die Außenanlagen sind in einem erbarmungswürdigen Zustand. Roh, ungeschmückt, mit vertrockneten Pflanzen. Die große Terrasse zum Ganges kahl, fast ohne Pflanzen, mit wenigen Sitzgruppen und völlig ohne Atmosphäre. Eine Baustelle für ein zukünftiges Café, eine anscheinend für einen Pool. Nicht laut, aber optisch ein weiterer Minuspunkt. Im Restaurant am ersten Abend waren wir wohl die einzigen Gäste neben einer italienischen Reisegruppe. Da der Raum sehr hellhörig ist, war die Lautstärke kaum zu ertragen. Am nächsten Abend wären wir dagegen um 20 Uhr die einzigen Gäste gewesen. Da haben wir dann lieber den Zimmerservice in Anspruch genommen.

Nice hotel, with a great view in Tapovan
Pros:

The location is very good. On the patio great deck overlooking mother Ganga River

The breakfast was excellent

The reception is lovely

That bathtubs (some rooms have them) are amazing

Staff. Particularly the restaurant staff, Especially Moa, are very kind.

Cons:

The floors in the room were dusty so when I went in barefoot my feet got dirty and then got dirtier when I got out of the shower.

It’s important that people who book know that an Indian 4 or 5 star is a little different than US or European. The standards are not really the same. For Roshikesh it is a nice, elegant hotel
