Omni Viking Lakes

I was here for work, and while I really love this property, I don’t think I can stay here or support staying here in the future. There are so many mosquitoes that you cannot go outside the property for any reason. I tried to go to the pool before being chased away by mosquitoes. I received over 50 bites on my lower legs in less than 30 minutes on the deck of Ember & Ice. It’s miserable. Hospitality and comfort should include safety and vector control.

Above and beyond amazing.From the time i checked in to the time i checked out. The pool and outside spa was amazing. Worth it

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, my room was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond—even surprising me with a birthday cake, which made my stay extra special. I also loved the outdoor pool, hot tubs, saunas, and the delicious drinks. The coffee shop was a great addition and the sitting aria around so cozy! They have a few restaurants inside the hotel for convenience with delicious food! Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again!

The staff we encountered from the front desk to the valet parking & restaurants were all extremely friendly, courteous & helpful. The service and food at the restaurants & coffee shop was outstanding, and our room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

Great service, clean and quiet rooms, nice facilities and good food options. Near airport and Vikings practice field, but not much else. All-around a great stay.

Me and my family had a blast at Omni hotel the first week of July for 5 days to celebrate Ethiopian ESFNA. I really highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located close to town and other restaurants and businesses. It feels pretty upscale with big open spaces in the lobby area. The restaurant on the first floor is open late and serves good food. It’s nothing exceptional, but it tastes good. It was good for deserts too. The soft serve ice cream was very tasty. There’s a pool and 2 large hot tubs on the 1st floor out back which were very nice. They even had 2 saunas and a food area there. Hot tubs had great jets with a max of 12 people per tub. Around 8 pm there were only three other couples in the two tubs. The room was nice. We stayed on the 6th floor and had nice views. The room rates were reasonable when compared with other big cities. The water pressure in the shower was pretty good. It was more than a trickle so that is good for most hotels. The pillows were very squishy so you might need to ask for more if you want them to prop you up or sleep higher up. There was a small round table in the room to use as a desk if needed. The electrical plugs were not convenient to plug in our electronics. We needed to pull our furniture in order to get to most of them. There’s also a sofa bed in the room but it’s hard to use as a couch because most of it has no backing. There also wasn’t a place to put our luggage when we opened it up. We ended up using one of the flat chairs as a table. The front desk was very nice and helpful, along with the bellmen who greeted us as we entered and left the building. I would self park as it’s a short walk across the parking lot. Not worth the cost of the valet unless you just want to splurge.

Omni Viking Lakes is AMAZING! The corner king suite looking over the field was awesome ~ not to mention the sunset. I loved my walks around the ponds as well, such a great way to start the day.
The staff is incredible. We loved the new outdoor pool, sauna, and hot tubs! This place is more of a resort than a hotel. Thank you for the amazing service, Edwardo, Wendy, Andrea, Selene, Maya, Gerry, Ketih, Josh, Rachel and more. Thank you for the BEST gluten Free chicken tenders ~ it was such a treat. We will be back soon.

Had a great staycation at the Omni Viking Lakes. From a great check-in experience with Ainsley at the front desk, to the beautiful outdoor pool amenities, and topped off with a great meal at Kyndred Hearth, would highly recommend checking out this property.

Location convenient to restaurants, shopping, and airport. The atmosphere was excellent, very clean, and friendly staff from the cleaning staff, front desk, banquet services, and restaurant staff. Noise level was perfect, no disruptions. Highly recommend.

Top notch hotel, service, rooms, food and amenities. First reactions were “this is nice”, got to room floor, Wow-getting even better and then inside room -perfect! Decor, robes!, towels that are big and fluffy. Had appetizers in downstairs restaurant/that Pate! Had breakfast in the second floor restaurant. Eggs Benedict. Will become our go to hotel when visiting the cities!

The restaurants were so convenient and good (including the service and food and atmosphere) that we actually canceled plans to travel out to dinner at local restaurants in town twice, opting to stay in and have dinner and drinks there, once at Ember and Ice and once at Kyndred. The room was beautiful and gave a very luxe feel. The finishes and furniture were so well thought out, not only functional but tasteful. The housekeeping service was also on point and amazing, replacing everything that was used daily (coffee/condiments and towels). Everyday coming in to an absolutely spotless and organized room. I've never had better housekeeping service at any hotel I've stayed with.

I love everything Vikings hotel is outstanding!

Stayed here for only one night. Great location. We did a very late check-in. Front desk staff person was extremely nice & welcoming. The hotel & our room were extremely clean & quiet. Room size was average size for a room with 2 queen beds. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
