Eagan
Pros:

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It was nice to be able to sit at different locations, the lobby, the patio area, etc.
Valet parking was appreciated.
We ate at Kyndred Hearth and it was amazing!

Cons:

The stand up shower was very nice but without a foot niche, bench or stool, it was difficult to shave my legs. Other than that, everything was great!

A Delightful Experience In Every Way
Pros:

From check in to check out, I enjoyed every single moment of my stay. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My room had a great view, was clean, quiet and comfortable. The new outdoor space is fabulous! I loved soaking in the outdoor hot tub and enjoying the sauna was perfect on a snowy Minnesota day. My restaurant experiences were perfect and the waiter at Ember & Ice made my birthday special. The Idlewild Spa is an amazing hotel spa and I would highly recommend Regina for a massage. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Nice spa/hotel experience
Pros:

I wanted a hotel with a spa attached. This spa was amazing! My dog and I enjoyed this hotel. I got there a little later than I would like to explore the actual hotel and use the pool and saunas outside. The spa was amazing. I would of enjoyed to go back to my room and return to the salt room after but they closed a little early due to weather. The food was amazing and after a nice relaxing massage I was able to have it brought directly to the room. Room service is amazing. A great little self-care get away for me and my dog Eugene.

Perfect Staycation with Amazing Food, Cocktails & Spa!
Pros:

We had an amazing overnight staycation at the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was stunning.

The food and cocktails throughout the property were excellent. We started with an appetizer and drinks at Ember & Ice, which was a perfect way to kick off the evening, and then had dinner at Kyndred Hearth where we enjoyed pizza and pasta — everything was wonderful.

The spa was absolutely amazing. It was such a relaxing and beautiful experience, and we loved everything about it.

Overall, it was the perfect staycation, and we can’t wait to come back!

Best Hotel in Minnesota — an absolute must-stay
Pros:

We held our annual church retreat at the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel this past weekend, and every hour it seemed there was something new to be in awe of in regards to how the venue accommodated us. Our ballroom was pristine, our rooms were exceptionally well-kept, and the FOOD! The food provided was customized by Chef Mike to fit our vegan Egyptian taste for the Great Lent Fast which made the hotel feel like home for all of our retreaters. We had a vegan burger that tasted better than the real thing, an egg burrito that made us doubt we were still fasting, and Koshari! — A staple Egyptian dish that the chef decided to learn how to make specifically for our group! We cannot praise this hotel enough for the manner in which the staff go above and beyond to accommodate its guests.
Huge praise for the manager, Mr. Ayman Ekladious, his attention to detail is exceptional and he is worth recognition across the industry.

Fantastic place to stay
Pros:

Staff was great, everything was explained thoroughly, very easy check in and check out process. Food was amazing and service was fast. They have a new outdoor hot tub/ sauna area which looks fantastic (was not able to enjoy due to my schedule).

Making a winter meeting in Minneapolis enjoyable!
Pros:

This is an outstanding hotel. Extremely convenient location close to the airport. It is basically a brand-new hotel (a couple years old but is in pristine condition). The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is exceptional, but the best part is the staff!

Perfect Stay!
Pros:

We have stayed here a few times and it's a flawless experience every time. The room is always spotless, staff is super friendly, and we love having the restaurants and coffee shop within the hotel (irreplaceable for these MN winters). Particularly we love having drinks in the Ember and Ice bar - so cozy and love all the fun choices of seating! This is our favorite hotel in the Cities for our date nights away from the kiddo!

Our family of 10, all said we would stay again!!! Thank you for the wonderful memories!
Pros:

We loved the friendly staff, the most! We didn’t like the Restaurant. We spent over $500.00 and I walked out hungry. All I wanted was a Steak and Potato. You had one…$95.00…lol. No kids menu, which was disappointing. The Server was great! The food and menu, very disappointing.

Cons:

The pillows in room 908 are flatter than a pancake.
