Breathtaking views, great location and excellent facilities
Pros:

The facilities at the hotel were fantastic: the rooftop pool and terrace bar have fabulous views, and the underground car park with freely available EV chargers made our stay in San Sebastián very convenient. The staff were also very helpful in making bookings for local restaurants and giving recommendations for the Old Town and Gros.

Cons:

The bed was too hard for our liking, and the room was slightly dark.

Keurig vijfsterrenhotel. Niet superspannend, meer zakelijk. Goed en vriendelijk personeel.
Als toerist zou ik achteraf liever dichterbij strand hebben gezeten , maar we hadden niet goed opgelet met boeken. Verder wel top service

Geweldig verblijf om hier vanuit SAN Sabastian te verkennen en te beleven.
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, een geweldig goed en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet, ruime kamers en heerlijke bedden, wat wil een mens nog meer. Bij het boeken van een volgende reis/trip zullen we zeker kijken of de bestemming een Catelonia Hotel heeft, als ze allemaal zo goed zijn als deze hoven wij niet meer verder te zoeken.

Cons:

Wat niet echt tegen viel maar wat wel iets is om rekening mee te houden is dat de prijs wat aan de hoge kant is maar dat weet je van te voren en je krijgt ook wel waar voor je geld. En San Sebastiaan is nu eenmaal wat duurder dan andere Spaanse steden. Verder hebben wij geen minpunten ervaren tijdens ons verblijf.

Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und bemüht. Nachdem wir eine Nacht in einem Zimmer verbracht haben, welches eine Zumutung war, haben wir ein sehr schönes Zimmer und eine nette Aufmerksamkeit zur Entschuldigung erhalten.

Cons:

Das Hotel wirkt sehr ungepflegt. Die verglasten Aufzüge sind schmutzig und verstaubt. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich abgewohnt. Schranktüren lassen sich nicht mehr richtig schließen, Die Duschwannen sind angeschlagen, die Möbel verwohnt und angeschlagen und, und, und...
Am unangenehmsten sind die Zimmer im großen Treppenhaus. Die Zimmertüren stellen eine ausschließlich optische, aber sicher keine akustische Barriere dar. Somit ist es verdammt laut im Zimmer, auch nachts. Es ist im 3. OG fast alles aus dem Empfangsbereich zu hören. Zudem hatten wir ein Zimmer, bei dem der Blick gegen die Hauswand ging. Es war einfach eine Zumutung.

Beautiful hotel and excellent staff overall, but a few avoidable issues prevented a perfect stay
Pros:

Beautiful, modern hotel that feels fresh and very well maintained.
Excellent location.
Spacious, comfortable room that worked perfectly for our family travelling with an 18-month-old child.
Most of the staff were friendly, professional and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would consider returning.

Cons:

For the first three days, the air conditioning repeatedly reset itself to around 25°C. This made the room uncomfortably warm, particularly for our toddler who still requires daytime naps. Although staff attempted to help, the issue persisted and disrupted our plans.

One member of the restaurant team was consistently slow and inattentive, even when the restaurant was almost empty.

On one occasion, my wife, who was holding our child and sitting with friends, was repeatedly called over with "come here, come here" so that the staff member could verify whether she was a hotel guest and ask for her room number. We had already been staying at the hotel for five days. Whilst guest verification is understandable, the way this was handled felt unnecessarily abrupt and left my wife feeling embarrassed in front of our friends.
