Comfortable, friendly hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

The location was great, within easy walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go in Andermatt. Having the Coop store on the ground level was also very convenient for stocking up on some essentials. The breakfast had a very nice variety, and the scrambled eggs actually had flavor (unlike at some large hotel breakfast buffets). The ski storage facility in the basement was also very convenient, with a boot dryer.

Pros:

Schönes, modernes Zimmer mit Balkon mit Aussicht über Andermatt. Bett bequem. Frühstückstaum ist ebenfalls schön gestaltet und gemütlich. Inhaber und weiteres Hotelpersonal sind freundlich.

Freundliches Ambiente, super Lage!
Pros:

Zimmer mit Bad und Abendsonne, Bedienung, tolles Frühstück, Skiraum, Parkgarage, und Nähe zum Skibus und allen Restaurants 😄 hat das ganze zum wunderbaren Aufenthalt gemacht - die Gastfreundschaft war ein weiterer herausragender Punkt.

Cons:

Der Preis für 1 Person war nicht wesentlich günstiger als für 2, was trotz Abzug Bettwäsche/Handtücher/Frühstück die Nacht im Verhältnis teuer machte. Den Hoteleingang finde ich etwas karg, wenig einladend. Könnte man freundlicher gestalten:) - nur so als Idee. Der freundliche Wirt ist das Willkommen in Person.

Wonderful stay at Alpenhotel Schlüssel in Andermatt!
This charming, family-run hotel has a fantastic central location — steps from the train station, lifts, and village highlights. They also have ski storage facilities right under the building (and a supermarket just around the corner).
Owner Thomas and the team are incredibly warm and caring. Traveling with our baby, we were touched by their thoughtfulness: they provided a comfy cot right away and set up a high chair for us at every breakfast.
The cozy chalet-style breakfast area with its hearty Swiss buffet was a daily highlight. The staff gave excellent recommendations and, when we needed a doctor during our stay, Thomas arranged everything quickly and smoothly.
Heartfelt service, perfect location, and genuine hospitality — we loved it!

A fantastic hotel in a beautiful town.
Pros:

Our second stay at this hotel and it's still wonderful - if I return to the region I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
The hotel is modern and clean, with a spotless bathroom.
It's right in the middle of town so is a perfect base for exploring Andermatt on foot, but Andermatt is a quiet town and it's in Switzerland so everybody behaves themselves and hence there's no noise in the evenings.
There is a nice breakfast served in the bar on the top floor.
During both our stays we were able to park free in a hotel space, the first time round the back, the second in the underground carpark,

Fijn betaalbaar hotel
Pros:

Nette en ruime kamer en badkamer. Veel keus bij het ontbijt. Midden in Andermatt en je kan gratis parkeren bij het hotel.

Cons:

Eigenaar/medewerker komt wat mopperig over maar helpt je wel bij alles.
