A wonderful place to relax! The environment is beautiful and peaceful, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and all the staff are very friendly, professional, and welcoming.

I especially highly recommend the Angsana Spa. The spa experience was excellent, and it was the perfect way to unwind. I will definitely visit again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A beautiful hotel, but the service and overall experience fell short of five-star expectations.
Cons:

1. Ant infestation in the room
While the room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, there was a significant issue with ants. Small ants were found on almost every surface in the room. They crawled over my personal belongings and even bit me on multiple occasions. This was extremely unpleasant and entirely unacceptable for a five-star property.
2. Guest experience and birthday recognition
Before my arrival, I informed the hotel that I would be celebrating my birthday during my stay. While I did not expect any extravagant gestures, a simple birthday greeting or a handwritten card would have been a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, the hotel did not acknowledge the occasion in any way.
When I politely enquired about this at the front desk the following day, the duty manager responded that I had not informed the hotel properly and implied that it was my personal responsibility. Rather than acknowledging the situation or offering an apology, the response felt dismissive and lacked the level of empathy and professionalism expected of a luxury hotel.
3. Italian restaurant
The Italian restaurant was another major disappointment. The quality of the food was below the standard expected of a five-star hotel. In addition, the waitstaff appeared insufficiently familiar with the menu. They were unable to answer basic questions, explain the dishes, or recommend suitable alternatives, and the restaurant manager repeatedly had to step in to assist with the ordering process. For an international five-star hotel, the overall standard of service was disappointing.

Good enough for us to come back.
Pros:

Breakfast is good. Location only works if you have a car. If not a bit far from relevant places. Facilties ready for use for free. i.e games and sporting equipment.Nicee rooms and good service by staff.

Cons:

A bit hot at restaurant. Lounge could be better decorated.Could be a bit cleaner. Try to do something about the crows.And have a bit more entertainment a band etc. Eating dinner a bit expensive compare to other comparable hotels.

Cons:

Cleanliness, there were ants everywhere, even at the bathroom sick. They prepared a piece of cake for birthday celebration but it was full of ants, we couldn't eat it.

Wonderful five-day four-nigh stay. We were sorry to go.
Pros:

Breakfast was superb with various cuisines represented to keep all tastes happy. Very relaxing view of the Andaman Sea from the room and at breakfast by the infinity pool. Staff genuinely pleasant and friendly.

Whilst other guests feel Teluk Bahang, where the hotel is situated, is out of the way for restaurants and shops, we preferred the fact that it was away from the hustle and bustle of Batu Ferringhi and Georgetown. Batu Ferringhi was only a RM5 Grab ride away, and we were within striking distance of Escape Penang, Entopia and Craft Batik, which offers a tour of their batik-making and a batik-making activity, which we enjoyed (RM38 for tour and DIY batik).

Cons:

The shower was sometimes too cold and the lifts were slow.
