La situación es buena pero tiene el inconveniente de que cuando llegas en coche con las maletas, casi no puedes ni parar a descargar porque está en una vía con mucho tráfico y no hay estacionamiento, tienes k parar en el mismo carril de circulación y sino aparcar, si puedes, en un parking público del puerto a 500m y cargar con el equipaje hasta el hotel.
La habitación no tiene ni una pequeña nevera y no le vendría mal alguna pequeña reforma, como quitar la bañera y poner una ducha y un espejo en el baño en el que te puedas ver y no un Cristal ahumado.
El desayuno no tiene mucha variedad pero está bien.
La recepción está en en mismo restaurante, algo extraño.
El personal es correcto, sin más.
No es muy ruidoso a pesar de aparentar lo contrario.

Die Suite verfügt über eine schöne Terrasse.Das Bad ist sehr eng und unpraktisch. Die Lampe über dem Spiegel fehlt, die Drähte schauen aus der Wand. Frühstückszeiten limitiert und nicht frei wählbar.

It’s amazing how the service can turn an average property into an outstanding one. The two Christinas (day and night managers) who were in charge couldn’t have been more helpful and were simply delightful people.
The hotel is very well located in the historic central district of Viana do Castelo, proximate to the river, shopping, restaurants and the Camino.
The rooms are utilitarian, but clean and the beds and shower were great.
We enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant that shares the lobby with the front desk.
I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff was excellent and very friendly. The room was recently renovated and very comfortable. Everything was perfectly cleaned. Excellent hotel!

The main issue we had with this hotel was the fact that they did not warn us before our arrival that on the first night there would be a very noisy music concert directly in front of the hotel, to the side of our bedroom. This loud music went on until nearly 3AM!!!! While we understand that events may take place, we should have been given the chance to change our booking BEFORE we arrived. When we spoke to the manager/ owner (I am not sure) the lady basically said it was OUR responsibility to check upcoming events, and that she doesn't feel responsible for our inconvenience. She also made a ridiculous comparison with her recent trip to Turkey where she was disturbed by the call to prayer at 5AM!! This is completely different and has nothing to do with it. She said that in future she would provide a link on her website so that people could check for themselves. At the end, she then asked us what we wanted. When we suggested she offered some form of discount she offered me 5 Euro, which I refused. We were not the only couple who were disturbed and unhappy with the situation. To conclude, we think it is perfectly reasonable to expect the hotel to notify its clients of such happenings that are extremely stressful and comprise the stay. There are only 12 emails to send out. Saying you were unaware of the music festival is simply not good enough!!

Juan at the front desk was amazing. Service extraordinaire. Bed was pretty good. Breakie was awesome!
