Cons:

Extremely loud even past 10pm
Breakfast starts at 7 but it wasn't ready, at 7:20 there was still food being out out.

Le personnel agréable dès l’arrivée

Cons:

Même si les chiens sont acceptés ,il faut compter 11 euros par nuit par animal , c’est le seul bémol mais c’est général maintenant dans tous les hôtels ou presque

Just an all round lovely place to stay….
Pros:

This was the first of my two stops travelling from France to the Algarve. I felt at home as soon as I walked through the door of this hotel, the welcome was outstanding and everywhere and everything was arranged well and was spotless., I am surprised this is just a 2 star hotel. When I went to my room I was amazed at how big it was. There was bottled water provided and there was even a fridge which fitted in well with the unit it was in, the lamp also contained a usb point for charging. The bed was the largest I have ever slept in and I had a good nights sleep. I had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious, it seems to be used by locals and I can understand why as everything is so well priced… a can of their local beer was just €2 so I had three! My meal and three beers came to €18. Breakfast was €6, I didn’t have breakfast but I did see what was on offer and I would say that it would be worth having, breakfast is set up in the bar area. It is an eleven minute drive from the motorway to the hotel but worth it, with ample parking. I have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel, I will be returning again in February. About dogs, I have two very well behaved Border Terriers, I was not charged for them to stay. A gem of a Hotel.

Cons:

This is not meant to be a negative but as I have written the above I must mention the acoustics in the social area, the noise travelled, I could hear it in my room which was furthest away from that area. I had no complaint as it was early and when I mentioned it to the reception on my way to the restaurant I was told that they would be gone by nine, it is not a drinking hotel but a lovely social place where the locals obviously like to go, if I lived there so would I.

I have stayed here before and I love the location, hotel and staff. I’m just not keen on the food. But I love this hotel
