Gorgeous hotel. Lovely, friendly staff, fantastic food, nice views, clean and comfortable rooms
Pros:

Lovely hotel, was taken up to my room and given fresh milk to go with the tea. Bed was comfortable, shower was powerful, room was spotlessly clean. Evening meal was amazing! Breakfast was piping hot and well cooked.

Cons:

choice of teabags, they were a bit fruity prefer more of an English/yorkshire tea but that is just a personal preference and no reflection on the hotel.

Lovely old building
Pros:

A lovely old building in a beautiful village. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast very good. Perfect poached eggs which I think is important.
Would stay again.

Cons:

The shower is rather cramped but it's an old building so they did well to get one in.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Lovely location in the middle of the village with plenty of parking and large beer garden behind. The decor and colour schemes were beautiful and well chosen throughout the building. Staff greeted us with a friendly welcome. We were then guided through the choice of locally brewed Ramsbury beers and gins.
The Bell gets 10/10 for the hospitality tray in the bedroom and was the best in our entire trip of the Wessex Downs. Breakfast was well presented with plenty of choices on the menu.
