Location is great and electric charging facilities make it easy for a service. Foot menu is limited but great quality. Breakfast is great
Rooms are Dusty and are in need of deep clean. Mattress was uncomfortable and bedding could be better.

New, clean and staff were very attentive.
The one reason we booked the hotel was for its facilities sauna, steam room etc. However, on arrival we were told these weren’t available. In addition, no real explanation was given.
Great location for visiting North Wales. Room was huge.
Staff often more focussed on their own priorities - breakfast not very exciting - inclusion of Welsh made yoghurt was great but the rest was v basic for a ‘spa’ hotel - coffee maker / toast machine in the way of staff exit from kitchen. Felt cramped.
If was spacious and clean

The bathroom setup in the room was awful
The toilet and shower were separate with frosted glass doors that did not close fully and the sink was in the room. A real lack of privacy
It would put me off staying again albeit the rest of the hotel was excellent, breakfast was slightly lacklustre

Staff were always rushing especially when we went down for dinner and we were forgotten multiple times for ordering
Great location, nice rooms, smeg kettle and mini fridge, the bar and restaurant were great and reasonably priced. I’ll book here again when I’m in the area next.
Not enough parking.
I wanted to use the spa facilities and pool but you have to prebook, which although not their fault meant I couldn’t go for a swim.
Staff was really nice and the room was clean and modern
Mattress was uncomfortable but apart from that everything was perfect
1. Friendly, helpful staff (special commendation to Cara regarding change of room due to a bad HVAC problem)

3. Good dinner experience, menu basic but covers all tastes with very good cooking and presentation
4. Rooms clean, with very good bathroom area (junior suite in our case)
5. Dolgarrog is a good place to discover Snowdonia from
6. Impressive views across the disused surf lagoon with old mining and rail equipment
7. A 3- to 4-star hotel experience
8. A very quiet night’s sleep (the area guarantees nocturnal peace)
9. Conwy and Llandudno close for excellent shopping (where required) and sightseeing
1. Placement of HVAC (air conditioning outlet) over the bed not a good idea if you dislike having wind blowing at you in your sleep
2. HVAC in junior suite above spa could not be turned off and room was too hot (as per hotel’s explanation: due to spa being right below): this was sorted by Cara at reception by placing us at higher level where the air conditioning worked
3. Wine list basic with cheaper wines only (however … if you like your wines, there’s a good wine merchant’s in Conwy)
4. Mattresses (ex-Hilton) are seasonal and require turning (instructions on mattress): ours hadn’t been turned and were somewhat noisy/uncomfortable
5. Would be nice to have that extra hand & face towel
6. Would be nice to have slippers and bathrobes
7. Bathroom sockets for electric toothbrush and shaver are missing (we had to buy in our own)
8. The disused lagoon—unless restored or converted somehow—will eventually become an eyesore factor
9. Corridors appeared not to be hoovered that well during our stay

Everything our stay was brilliant really wonderful hotel and the spa was outstanding
The food was excellent when it arrived
From serving staff to bar staff they either didn’t know or didn’t care about the customer. I had to ask someone to take our food order had to go to collect our drink order and the table next to us were less proactive and waited 90 min for their starters. They too had to go to the bar to get drinks.
The bedrooms are spacious with really big beds & the food in the restaurant is quite nice
The cleaner didn’t come until after 3pm
The spa facilities look better online that in person
