Great facilities, clean and comfortable

Everning meal was shocking over prices and very slow took us 20 minutes to get three drinks. Food was average at best
Room was fine, although none of us slept well because the beds are like concrete.
The hotel is clearly marketed and aligned with the Adventure Parc, however, it transpires the surf pool has been closed since 2023 due to cost. The zip line is also shut with the platform dumped in bits next to the spa. We could not use the pickle ball court because there was a wedding reception on it. When we tried to use the pool tables one was broken and there were no pounds coins for the other. The indoor equipment then all closes by 5pm.
The hotel is very odd without the Parc and this should be made clear - the website still has images of the surf pool on it so is misleading. There's nothing else to speak of in the village, so the whole experience is like arriving at a forgotten former Soviet town!
The hotel is badly maintained. Of the two lifts one was broken for our entire stay. The pool table didn't have any cues - so I bought them one. Taps didn't work in the gents. The gym had equipment missing, the music didn't work, no detergent etc.
The glass washer in the bar didn't work because every time we ordered a drink the glasses were filthy.
The restaurant food is pretty poor and uninspired, which is a real let down because there's nowhere else to go nearby.
Housekeeping had to be chased up for towels.
The one time I tried to use the spa, I couldn't because it was full.
Overall - I wish we'd gone somewhere else and feel ripped off.

The location and the staff were friendly
Our towels were not changed for 2 days even though we asked for room service! So they just folded the dirty wet towels and left them on our beds. The lady at the reception was very nice when I told her and arranged for new towels that night.
The rooms were nice and modern
The hotel isn’t in a location with any eating options and when we asked to eat at the restaurant we were told they were fully booked and only accepted bookings. They finally agreed to let us eat and the food was very average.

Half of our family was staying in a house across the street, so the location was amazing for us. Even without that, though, we would've loved the location. Very pretty and very safe area.
The hotel was wonderful; clean, comfortable and had many amenities. The only issue we had was that the shower leaked every time we took a shower, so the floor would be completely soaked. We ended up using all of our towels just to try to soak up the water.
Property was in a good location. Sadly the water sports at the hotel was closed for the three days we stayed there.
The first day we went for breakfast the chef came across very rude but day 2 and 3 the chefs were different staff members and were very friendly.

Housekeeping needs to be addressed. We had to ask for an extra hand towel ( only 1 provided ) Noticeable dust on several surfaces, including phone. We choose not to have the room made up when we are away for such a short time.....but we arrived to find kettle half full of water, no idea how long it had been there and when we left it was ( as we did not use it ) ....None of the toiletries had been topped up, the shower gel ran out after first night.

Loved the spa, one of the main hooks. Possibly inside floors could have used a good wash & bleach but everything worked! Amazing massage. Rooms present very nicely initially. Good food. Beautiful surroundings and fresh air.
Rooms possibly could have used a hoover under beds for example. Beds I found quite firm / not to my personal taste (am quite tall / heavy), subjectively. Infernal broken lift that I wonder if could have been serviced more quickly (doors opening and closing). We stayed 5 nights. Well stocked bar if quite expensive, same applies to food. Staff for most part polite and helpful, slight hiccup with housekeeping where bed was not made in morning and then entered abruptly around 6pm (just when you want some pre-evening quiet time)! Overall sense of a place with high guest turnover, polite but slightly impersonal. Decent.
