Bodenständiger Aufenthalt im ältesten Gasthaus von Plauen
Pros:

Das Restaurant mit echter gutbürgerlicher Küche. Achtung: Die Portionen sind riesig. Hatte die Teller auf den Nebentischen gesehen und deshalb Schritt für Schritt bestellt, je nach Rüstungen. Gute Weinkarte. Hätte meinen "Hauswinzer" Pfaffl nicht auf der Karte erwartet. Gute Brände aus Österreich als Digestif.

Wohlfühlen im Herzen von Plauen
Pros:

Das Wirtshaus Matsch liegt mitten in Plauen. Die Zimmer sind individuell, zwischen historischen Balken und trotzdem nicht verstaubt sondern richtig zum Wohlfühlen. Die Mitarbeiterinnen war außergewöhnlich freundlich, ich habe sofort willkommen gefühlt.

Das Hotel ist urig, die Einrichtung bemerkenswert.

Cons:

Das Frühstück entsprach nicht den Erwartungen und rechtfertigt in keiner Weise den Preis.
Es sollte unbedingt zusätzlich darauf hingewiesen werden, dass es keine Möglichkeit des freien Parkens gibt und die Gebühr für den hoteleigenen Stellplatz sehr hoch ist.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Uns hat das gesamte, urige Hotel gefallen, dass uns mit seiner Zimmerausstattung im Omas Zeiten zurückversetzt hat.
Das Essen in der Gaststätte im Haus war sehr lecker.
Wir haben uns heimisch gefühlt und auch unser Dackel war willkommen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und für Stadtbesichtigung bestens
Pros:

Freundliches zugewandtes Personal beim einchecken und im Restaurant abends zum Essen. Die Einrichtung entspricht der Beschreibung = man wohnt in antikem Gebäude ( gut saniert ) mit schöner antiker Einrichtung. Sehr gemütlich.
Die Lage ist ruhig , dennoch zentral für eine Stadtbesichtigung. Qualitativ gutes und sehr umfassendes Frühstücksangebot am Buffet.
Für mobilitätseingeschränkte Menschen Hotel leider nicht geeignet, wegen der vielen Treppen und Stufen.
Evtl. lässt sich noch etwas verbessern im Angebot durch einen Gästekühlschrank , in dem man besonders im Sommer eigene Getränke oder das angebotene Wasser kühlen kann.

Cons:

Im Zimmer für die Kaffeebereitung Alu-Kapselmaschine und Wegwerfbecher. Das finden wir nicht Weltschonend.
Außerdem schmeckt der Kaffeee aus Pappbechern nicht gut.
