Stambouli Hotel

Cet hotelier m a dit que j avais paye pour une personne alors que c etait pour deux .

Mon séjour s'est très bien passé. Confort, sécurité (pas de vol), propreté étaient au rendez-vous. Merci à tout l'équipe !

I stayed here for one night.

Friendly and efficient receptionist. Decent free WIFI. Rooms small and dark due to choice of linens and fixtures but clean. Dated furniture makes room seem a bit run down. Walls thin and kept awake by my neighbor’s TV and by the traffic as my room overlooked a busy street. Bring earplugs.

Restaurant has a decent menu serving ok food and they are quick. The only problem is the breakfast. I attach a picture. Apparently there were also yoghurts but if you didn’t get there at 7 AM you are out of luck.

Our room was comfortable and large, with a/c, and the bathroom had a great shower. The furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but there was plenty of wardrobe space and a good desk. The room had one very large double and two small beds, all of which were good for sleeping. The wi-fi did not reach the large bed space, but using the phone as a hotspot connected to the wi-fi worked well enough. The location is near to central sites. The staff is nice. Unfortunately the breakfast was terrible. It was only coffee, juice, baguettes, croissants and a sweet. There wasn't even any tea.

We stayed a couple of nights in the hotel. The price was very acceptable (5500 dzd for a double room). It was clean, calm, nice and very close to the center of Tlemcen. We were really satisfied. I suggest this hotel to anyone in visit to Tlemcen.

A good central hotel with very nice rooms, very nice staff and people on reception speak a little English. Reasonable restaurant, but with no wine. Two stars but deserves three.
Foolishly i left my mobile telephone in the lobby and it got stolen but that is not the hotel's fault but mine. Tlemcen is a charming place - give it 2 days if you can.

We were friendly welcomed although we had only brought the swiss identity card (without passport) - unlike another hotel nearby which made us leave because of that...The rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was scarce, but ok. They gave a nice reduction on the room fee. The stay was absolutely acceptable for one night.
