Won’t be going back unless I want to get ill. Place was filthy
Pros:

5 minute drive to Liverpool central. Quiet area

Cons:

When we first got to the hotel. We were waiting around 20 mins to check in. They weren’t expecting us or couldn’t find our booking. When we got to the room it was disgusting. I never complain but I couldn’t sleep in that room. I went and spoke to the lady at reception and she offered to clean the room (we were in a rush to get ready for dinner) she upgraded our room to a superior room. Was not much better. Carpet in the corner was lifting, tiles missing in the shower, I dropped my beauty blender on the floor and had to bin it. It was covered in blonde hair, dust and dirt ( me or my partner aren’t blonde) I completely understand that house keepers miss spots sometimes but this room wasn’t one of them everything was filthy

Disappointing
Pros:

The only positive out of the experience was how helpful the staff were and understanding when we decided that we couldn’t stay here as it really wasn’t suitable

Cons:

Multiple items - the fact that they take a damage deposit of £150 but the rooms weren’t even suitable when we arrived. The lock on our door was broken, scuff marks everywhere plus various other items which we would’ve likely been blamed for if my partner hadn’t noticed and notified the team straight away. The second room we were provided with smelt heavily of damp and when the door closed, the lock broke on that door too.
I’m pregnant and my partner and I didn’t feel safe staying and the mouldy smelling room didn’t seem like a good idea for our baby either.

A really good and functional stay for the price, this was absolutely crazy value for money, so good!
Pros:

Staff were so friendly. The place is refurbed to a high standard. Free parking was an added bonus.

Cons:

The room could fit a bigger bed, tiles in the bathroom uneven, I’d replace with vinyl given it’s a loft room.

Cons:

Decent budget hotel
Pros:

Great proximity to Anfield (was there for a game).

Cons:

The bed was a bit solid and uncomfortable, but that's down to personal preference.

Hotel has huge potential but is let down by basics not being met.
Pros:

1. The location was great for Anfield
2. Beds were comfy
3. Looks like a nice bar (although didn’t use it)
4. Staff were pleasant
5. WiFi was decent
6. Tv with plenty of channels and has Netflix etc
7. Tea/coffee provided

Cons:

Sorry for the negatives but these are things I could’ve looked past if the room rate was £50-60 not almost £100

1. The car park is the size of a postage stamp
2. Expensive rate £96 for a basement room with no window
3. Asked for twin beds and was told I was allocated a room with twin beds and I wasn’t.
4. Was given one bath towel for two people
5. The toilet seat was broken, no plug in basin, shower leaked and dressing table chair felt like one more lean back away from breaking in two.
6. Could hear everything outside our room and above our room at times was really loud.
7. The £150 damage deposit is a bit of joke seeing as things are already half broken before you’ve even walked into the room.
8. Wasn’t very clean there was hair on the back of the toilet and beer bottle caps still with the tea and coffee.
9. The outside looks a little worse for wear, not really like the photos on the website
