The room was twice as expensive as comparable hotels, but there wasn’t much availablity, so we took it.

Comfortable and clean
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable. I felt safe and welcomed there.

Cons:

The indoor pool was freezing and we couldn’t use the amenity. We visited in August and wanted to visit a pool so it was disappointing. It was the main reason we booked the hotel to begin with.

Good value and a comfortable place to stay.
Pros:

The location is good. The breakfast was nice. The mattress was better than many other places I’ve stayed at in over a year. The soaps and shampoo were better scented than most other places. The refrigerator was very cold. The bathroom was clean with a nice shower. The towels were good. Parking was convenient.

Cons:

There was a limited selection of TV channels. But that was a very minor issue.

It was one of the nicest hotel stays we had recently
Pros:

We really liked our stay at the Holiday Inn at Roanoke, VA. It was clean, had a good breakfast and a comfortable bed. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful too

I will not pay for a “suite” there again.
Pros:

Location, morning breakfast

Cons:

The suite I paid for was nothing more than a regular sized room with a pullout couch instead of a chair.
