Important information:

Service dogs and emotional support dogs are permitted only upon prior request and confirmation of hotel availability, exclusively during our pet-friendly season from June to October. One dog per room, with a maximum weight of 8 kg. A mandatory fee of 2,500 pesos per stay (up to 5 days) applies. If the dog is trained, hygiene protocols and the original vaccination certificate must be provided. Dogs must not be left alone or unattended at any time. An additional security deposit of 6,000 pesos will be required. Other pets are not permitted.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Overpriced austerity
Pros:

Fundamentally this is not a hotel this is more eco-jungle lodge. This is not a comfortable place to relax and unwind. It’s a very specific kind of dynamic but I left even more in need of a holiday than when I arrived.

Laid back beach retreat
Pros:

Great little beach front hotel within the bioreserve! The room was spacious and very nice with a view of the ocean and a private deck. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, and all the staff was super nice and always helpful. The place is very laid back and away from the nightlife in Tulum, which we really enjoyed. That said, there is a small bar at the beach (open during the day) and one in the courtyard (open in the evening) as well as and a friendly mix of guests and some local folks during the days and evenings, with everything closing down by 10 pm. The restaurant was very good and they were able to accomodate vegetarians (and vegans) without a problem.

Cons:

No complaints, but worth noting that like many small hotels away from the main tourist area, the electricity and water pump run on a generator, so on a couple of occassions there were glitches without water, but these were quickly resolved.

It was like being home in paradise.
Pros:

We stayed in Tulum for several days and couldn't have been happier. It didn't feel like a hotel at all — it felt like coming home to family. We had such wonderful days there. The food was excellent and the staff were simply amazing. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of; every wish was anticipated before we even had to ask.
The accommodation is small, quiet, and incredibly cozy. You can truly feel how much love and care has been put into every detail.
It was an experience in itself. We also really appreciated the strong focus on sustainability and caring for the environment, which was very important to us.
In the evenings, everyone would gather together in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We met amazing people and had great conversations.
We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a beautiful time!

Sehr schön aber sehr teuer.
Pros:

Die Lage und der Strand sind toll. Die vorderen Bungalows liegen am Strand. Ganz toll, es sei denn es stürmt. Dann ist es extrem laut.

Cons:

Getränke und Essen sind sehr teuer. Zum Weihnachtsessen wurde wir als Familie herzlich eingeladen. Beim Checkout wurden dann 100 Euro pro Person gefordert. Sehr unangenehm. Der Strand wird täglich mit Tagesgästen gefüllt.

Pros:

Понравилось размещение отеля в заповеднике, что создает довольно уединенную атмосферу без городской суеты. Великолепная еда, которую нам готовили, была одной из лучших в Тулуме. Администрация отеля так же была очень приветлива. Номер в настоящих джунглях это то что точно стоит попробовать!

la qualité de service (aucune information sur le contenu du petit déjeuner compris dans le prix par exemple, ou encore accueil plus catastrophique par une personne gérant en même temps son enfant). Etre "cool" c'est bien, mais on peut l'être tout en étant professionnel, surtout à plus de 500 € la nuit
la non information sur les contraintes liées au fait d'être dans une réserve naturelle
informations erronées sur le site : par exemple "parking privé" mis en avant, alors qu'il s'agit de places sur le chemin public qui passe devant l'hotel

I loved everything, the vibe, the energy, the food.

Cons:

My room was not super clean. The cups were filled with toothpaste gunk from earlier guests. And you needed that to drink water. Even the water jar had toothpaste gunk on it.

Ok, wenn man wenig Ansprüche an Ausstattung /Service hat .
Pros:

Die Lage am Strand ist sensationell!
Die kleine Strandbar ist ebenfalls richtig toll und Armando kümmert sich sehr nett um die Gäste.
Allerdings ist man relativ weit weg von den Shops und Restaurants in Tulum.
Für jemanden der es ruhig mag, ist es perfekt.

Cons:

Aus unserer Sicht ist die Unterkunft in die Jahre gekommen. Die ein oder andere Renovierung wäre sicher von Vorteil.
Aus diesem Grund finden wir, dass der Preis pro Nacht ( Frühstück muss extra bezahlt werden) absolut zu hoch ist!
Auch der Service beim Frühstück ist nicht das, was man bei diesem Preis erwarten könnte.
