Pros:

Staff polite , however i changed rooms twice and even the new room had a defective matress. I didnt sleep all night. The matress was uneven. The shower was also broken. Staff said all the mattresses are the same.

Over many years my husband and I have spent thousands of pounds with Expedia on hotel and flight bookings, as it offers great value for money and efficient support.

On this occasion I booked a night at the Marriot hotel in Keele as a stop-over on a journey from a ferry in Holyhead and my destination in Cambridge.

Unfortunately the ferry was cancelled at the last minute due to adverse weather, so I called the hotel and Expedia to inform them of this fact.

The hotel told me to call Expedia. When I did I was told that they would contact the hotel and see what they could do about a refund or book another date. Expedia told me that the hotel was refusing to help. I asked the Expedia operator to call the manager of the hotel, which he said he would. He never call me back.

I am very disappointed with this sort of treatment, as we have been loyal customers for such a long time.

I would like Expedia to help arrange a complimentary night at the same hotel for 11th October.

Can you please look into this matter and revert to me.

Pros:

A very comfortable and friendly hotel - and ideally situated for a meeting at the University (within walking distance). My only issue is that there is no mobile signal anywhere in the hotel (it works if you stand outside the entrance!). It does have good free WiFi though. Great place to stay

Impeccable!

Modern sleek hotel on Keele Uni campus. Beautiful spacious rooms with large walk in showers. Full marks to the cleaning staff as everything is imacculate. The staff at check-in, the bar , the restaurant were all very friendly and professional. Have to call out Connie who was really welcoming and managed to find me a table for dinner. Superb breakfast too. 👌
The only downside was the EV charging points were all taped up except one This could have been an issue if you were relying on charging up your car here

Pros:

The stay was very pleasant, especially because we were provided with connecting rooms. Lots of space in the family room. The reception staff was just amazing, friendly, accommodating and helpful in every sense.

Modern hotel with friendly staff
Pros:

When we arrived we was welcomed by Jonathan who took care of us thoroughly throughout our visit. He was a pleasure to speak to. We encountered a problem with the bed in the room and he swiftly changed our rooms for us and made sure we was happy in the new room.
The food was amazing and tasted lovely! Rooms are modern & showers are lovely!
Recommend to stay here if using caudwell children like we did!
