NOT a real Hyatt House
Pros:

DO NOT stay here if you are looking for the room experience that the Hyatt Houses are supposed to offer. My room was a Hyatt Place room experience for a Hyatt House price. If you need the Hyatt House amenity of a full kitchen, then skip this one and check the other properties right next to this hotel: TownePlace Suites, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, or Hilton Garden Inn. The area is nice but if you need kitchen, like I did, this is NOT the place to stay!

Uncomfortable Beds.
Pros:

The staff was very nice and the place was clean. But the bed was very uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on the couch after waking up several times. My girlfriend had the same experience for her room.

Ok for short stay
Pros:

Pool area is nice and rooms are spacious

Cons:

Breakfast- there are no vegetables or real bread/ yoghurt/ No omelettes

Needs more furnitures around the pool
No hangers in the room only 1 wardrobe

Staff communication poor
Pros:

Clean. Well kept. Excellent breakfast

Cons:

Asked for bags to be stored, promised it would be done - given bag tag. Came back 8 hours later - bags still in lobby. New staff had no idea who bags belonged to. Good news - nothing stolen - bad news they were not secure at all. Could easily have been a real problem. Did not have to provide the bag tag to retrieve the bags- a simple “those are mine” was all that was required. Again not secure.

Good for a short stay
Pros:

The pool area is really nice, rooms are spacious, bathroom is big

Cons:

Lack of vegetables or anything to eat for breakfast
There are no hangers on the walls in the room just a very small wardrobe so clothes for 4 persons does not fit

Pool needs new sun chairs and would be nice with a bar outside to order from

Food was very disappointing
Hold of 50 dollar per night is too much it also takes many bank days to release it

Deserves 5 stars
Pros:

I have been trying to give less 5 star reviews but the Hyatt House deserves the 5 stars. The hotel is clean, the staff is excellent, the food (both the free breakfast and the H bar) is good. Sleep quality is fantastic. I was facing the airport and was not impacted by plane noise. The pool was not crowded and was nice. The price was competitive. No reason not to give it 5 stars

Nice comfortable stay.
Pros:

Hotel was really nice, clean and the room was spacious. We ended up with a room that had a kitchen and living room. The bedroom was a good size comfortable bed and nice size bathroom. The shower had great pressure. The gentleman at the front desk that checked us in was friendly and helpful. They had a full breakfast and it was good.

Favorite Tampa Hotel
Pros:

Room was great for my overnight stay. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Perfect location for early morning flight at TPA.
