The Glenmark, Glendale, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

My experience with the Glenmark Hotel valet service and management was extremely disappointing.
My watch and bracelet were stolen while my car was in the hotel’s valet parking. I immediately reported the incident and contacted the police, and a police report was filed.
Instead of receiving support, I felt I was treated unfairly. During a phone call, the hotel manager accused me of lying about my arrival time and even claimed that someone else had driven a car with my license plate. After I insisted that this was impossible, he called me back and admitted he had reviewed the wrong vehicle and apologized for his mistake.
Despite this, I felt that no one took responsibility for properly addressing my concerns. I was not allowed to view the security footage, and I was left feeling that my case was not taken seriously. Losing a valuable personal item while my car was in the hotel’s valet care was already upsetting, but the way the situation was handled made it even worse.
If you’re considering using the valet service here, I strongly recommend being extremely cautious with your valuables. Based on my experience, I did not feel supported or that the incident was handled with the level of professionalism and accountability I expected.

Booked a one-night stay at Glenmark for a last-minute spontaneous trip to Southern California over the holiday weekend. We arrived pretty late, but Kimberly at the front desk was incredibly welcoming despite the late hour. She was so kind, acknowledged that we’d had a long day of travel, and did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Her warm hospitality truly made our night and set the tone for an amazing stay. Thank you, Kimberly, for going above and beyond!

Room was exceptionally clean and early morning and late evening staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is really well-loved! It’s super close to some great restaurants and grocery stores. The staff is so friendly and helpful, always making sure you feel welcome and taken care of. The only thing I wish was a microwave—I love making my own popcorn!

Glenmark Glendale an amazing place to call your home for however long your stay. I've been a guest for both work & pleasure. The customer service is amazing! Start your morning at Olia Restaurant with an excellent breakfast to start your day prior to taking on Glendale and surrounding area! Wrap up your day with a visit to their MYA Rooftop for a cocktail/mocktail. This is a wonderful place to stay to provide the experience you want while you are traveling whatever the reason!

Friendly staff, beautiful rooms.

We were in Glendale, near LA. The rooms are spacious, very nicely decorated with comfortable beds. There is a wonderful roof top terrace with spectacular views of the area. It is reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

I always stay at The Glenmark when in the area and it never disappoints. The staff is so kind and accommodating. I also never have issues with housekeeping. The gym has limited equipment but all is great for work travel.

Great atmosphere, feels very pricey and elegant yet doesn’t hit your wallet hard. Feels like being in a John Wick movie (gotta be there to understand reference)

Front manager Moses was condescending, did not keep his word, patronizing, and the valet was unprofessional. The room was definitely not up to par with it being a “5 star hotel”. We were denied a refund, but left without completing the stay anyways because it was THAT horrible.

Great little hotel in Glendale, absolute gem!

Came to LA for a couple days to visit the Petersen Automotive Museum, the LA Philharmonic, and the Griffith Observatory. This was a great location for getting around without staying downtown. Rooftop restaurant, good coffee, and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go.

Police state, Rip-off experience.

Stay somewhere else, where you're treated like a human.

Terrible service.

I love this place. Is new, aesthetic and the service is great. I love the food on both restaurants. And the view form the rooftop is gorgeous.

Outstanding boutique hotel, beautifully appointed rooms, helpful & friendly staff. My only negative is that breakfast is not available until 0800, too late for early necessary departure.
