Location really close to downtown
Good location, good breakfast
They charge $20 per night for parking. I wasn’t aware of that until I arrived. Their parking garage was full, had to park on street & move my car by 8am or pay the meter.
Very clean property
Limited parking
Room was good. Bed was alright and there was extra pillow in the closet. The air conditioner workded well.
Night staff needs to be retrained on how to check in guests using a third party booking site. I was charged twice for the room and the staff argued with me that I was supposed to pay them even after I showed them the email from the third
partying booking site saying I had prepaid and I did not need to pay anything more in bold letters. The clerk who wasn't even the one checking us in, said that I was lying when I said I called the hotel number first several times to try and book a room directly through the hotel. I even showed her on my cell phone where I called 3 times!! I had also went to the hotel website first and the website did not load. I know it wasn't my internet because I was able to get on the third party booking website right away. I went to bed frustrated and I was there to recieve cancer treament. TV would not connect for streaming. It did have the option and I am very well informed on how to connect to the TV for my streaming services but it did not work. We checked in very late so I did not report it that night.
Also the cleaning of the bathroom could have been better there was dark hairs on the floor of the shower that was definately not mine or my husbands. We had to get a light bulb put in for the side table next to the bed because it was missing one. The door for the coffee pot cabinet was hard to close.
Convenience to Mayo . Staff were nice and friendly.
Room could have been cleaner. Nobody explained how to get to our room -- elevator was key card activated! We spent several very frustrating moments in the elevator!! The pool was also closed. Last, upon check out found out about a parking fee! In the host's defense - he waived the fee because I hadn't been told about it which was super kind.
Nice and clean. Friendly staff
Too noisy. Not enough isolation to block out noise. The train coming through was very loud. Otherwise a very pleasant and easy stay.
The staff were friendly and kind. The room was clean. However there is no food service at the bar which is listed on the website. There is a train but we didn’t have any issues. The parking garage is tight but manageable and the location is close to great restaurants. It was fine but I would not book there again.
This is exactly the place I needed while on a stressful trip to Mayo. It was one of the smoothest experiences I’ve had in a while and went above and beyond.
I used to like this property a lot when visiting Mayo - the parking is helpful.
The unbelievably rude staff member, broken bathroom sink, horrible lack of cleanliness of the room, the sheer noise and extreme number of pets. There is pet friendly and then there is human friendly. For humans who are seeking medical treatment, seek accommodation elsewhere.
Easy parking
Rude staff, dirty rooms, loud, this place has gone down hill. Do NOT recommend for Mayo patients
Breakfast was fine.
The location from Mayo Clinic center and staff so friendly
The pillows and bed covers need to be changed.
The location from Mayo Clinic center and staff
Pillows and bed covers
Room and lobby were very nice! Very safe and convenient to the Civic Center.
A little noisy at night, police cars. Breakfast was OK-dry scramble eggs and some type of cheap sausage. Coffee was good!
In late December of 2025, my husband developed pneumonia for the fourth time in a year. I opted to drive the five hours to Rochester so he could be admitted to one of the Mayo Clinic's hospitals. The first night I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott, which was right across the street from St. Mary's Hospital. There was a snow storm that hit, so I left my vehicle in the ramp at the hospital & walked across the street to the hotel. Early in the morning on the 28th, my husband was transferred to Methodist Hospital. I checked out of the Marriott & made a reservation with Hyatt House. We have stayed at the Hyatt almost every time we've had appointments at Mayo for the past five years. I told the desk clerk that I didn't know exactly how many days I would be there because I didn't know when my husband would be released from the hospital. I stayed the nights of the 28th & 29th. On the 30th, I told the desk clerk that I was checking out that day. I was in a hurry to go, so I didn't get a receipt for the stay. We had never had an issue in the past. For Mayo hospital patients, I'm sure they can relate to the variables in hospital stays. One is never sure what day the patient will be discharged until it happens. Later when I went to file the bill in our medical expenses, I found a charge for well over $700.00. My husband called the Hyatt & was told my one of the managers that they would refund around $450.00 because we had been charged for five nights, not two. In the following weeks, four different employees from the Hyatt have told my husband that they would issue the refund. He has called well over a dozen times. The manager today told my husband they tried to issue the credit, but my card was expired. My card doesn't expire until 2028. We have had small problems with charges in the past, but nothing like this episode. It makes me sad to see the state their customer service has fallen to.
Wonderful hotel to stay in with professional staff with all your needs taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay.
Has bed bugs and reported it. Management doesn’t seem to care about it as never heard from them! Absolutely horrible experience and I will never ever return to this filthy hotel.
breakfast eggs were cold as are most breakfasts. plenty of choices (except waffles). Nice hotel.
YOUR HOTEL WAS MUCH NICER THAN WE HAD THE WEEK BEFORE AT CENTERSTONE.
