Orient Beach Hotel

The hotel itself is in the perfect location in front of the beach and all the amenities of Orient Bay. The room was nice with an amazing view (choose Ocean view) and parking was easy (but it was low season). Cleaning was good, even if the fridge in the room was always leaking and the bathroom shower needed a bit of more maintenance. There were few other issues that may annoy other clients, but there weren’t major for us (but certainly not worth giving 5 stars): the beach club in front of the hotel they generally use was closed, but they only informed us after booking (this is something you should clearly inform clients before)- similar issue with breakfast, they claim it is included but it is really essential (see pictures) and even the à la carte menu (that you have to pay) is not enough. The window lock didn’t work (safety issue) and the outside pool is quite small too. However, the location is the strong point and waking up with the ocean view, so it all depends on your priorities.

Clean and cozy and steps from Orient Beach

The location was beautiful, convient, and many restaurants around. The room was stunning.

Almost everything was excellent. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful, our first floor room was very accommodating and fresh, the morning breakfast was a good way to start the day, walking distance to many good restaurants, location right on the beach. Housekeeping was inconsistent with their towel service. Yes, my wife and I will return to OBH next year.

This hotel is great. Its located in the perfect spot. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel provide access to beach club chairs. They are walking distance from great restaurants and the little shops.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff! We stayed there for 4 nights in June for our anniversary and had a great time. Our room was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable, the AC strong and the view was incredible - even being on a ground floor unit that technically was considered a garden view.

The only thing that wasn’t great was the TV wasn’t working (it kept freezing) which ordinarily wouldn’t matter on vacation but it’s the World Cup so was hoping to catch some games at the end of the day. They had literally switched tv providers the day we arrived (on a Friday) and once Monday rolled around they had someone come out and fix it so that evening was fine. I’m sure it’s fine now and going forward.

The breakfast at KKO Beach was lovely. Light and refreshing to start the day but filling enough for the day. It was so nice to just take a short little stroll to sit outside and eat while watching the waves.

We didn’t make use of the pool or the other beach clubs so can’t speak on those but everything is walking distance which is great.

We enjoyed the little village area and all the restaurants nearby (the little pizza place Bona Mama is divine in particular).

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

My room was clean, and the daily housekeeping was good. The complimentary continental breakfast was basic, but that was all that I needed. The ability to use multiple beach clubs was a bonus. The sargassum was a bit of an issue, but workmen regularly removed what collected on the beach. Parking at the hotel was limited, and the parking spots were small, so renting a very small car is advisable if you need to drive around the island. I never had an issue finding a parking spot. There are a lot of restaurants at the Orient Bay Village, which is within walking distance of the hotel, so a car is not needed if you plan to stay just in the Orient Bay area.
