Orient Beach Hotel

Spent a wonderful 5 nights at OBH. Rooms are large and comfortable. Photos depicted on website are true to form. Would have loved an upper level room but we were not so lucky. Staff were all kind. Was happy with the breakfast that was included in the room cost, as well as the beach loungers/umbrellas. No need to worry about adapters, they can be borrowed at the front desk. This was not our first trip to the island, so we had no desire to rent a car. Taxied to/from airport, Pinel ferry & Friars/ Happy Bay. Walked to Orient Village each evening for fabulous meals.

Issues:
Room 402
1) Slider did not lock! If we had an upper floor room this would not be a concern. Staff attempted to fix it. The first night that did not happen, we needed to use the hurricane shutters for safety purposes. Next day, it was repaired only to fail 2 more times during our stay. Desk was notified with each incident. Actually, one of the employees mentioned this was noted by the vacationer who had checked out before us. Manager was made aware. At checkout I advised this would be reported on TA. Please invest in a new lock .

2) Water pressure in shower was awful. I assumed this was normal on this side of the island. Imagine my surprise on check out day, that my sons room (201) had great water pressure. Go figure. Desk was advised at check out.

We block out weeks for trips then look for last minute deals, sometimes works. This trip got good deal on airfares to Saint Martin. Many places sold out so we stayed 4 days at other resort, 5 days Orient Beach Hotel. OBH only had lowest level suite available, which was fine. Nice room, ground level, next to pool, view of bushes and pool, view of beach off in distance. Reception staff very nice, helpful. Continental Breakfast buffet at KKO beach club ok, servers and staff dogs all nice. OBH is towards east end of Orient Beach, easy walking up to L’Astrolabe, over to Orient Village, down beach to 6-8 beach bar/restaurants, and nude beach at east end. Nude beach has about 100 pairs of beach chairs/umbrellas to rent, plus Peach Bar & Grill, great tiki bar with picnic tables. Didn’t rent a car, took taxis to Grand Case, Marigot, Simpson Bay, probably spent about same as rental car. Great dining all over the French side.

We were so glad we found the Orient Beach Hotel for our recent trip to St. Martin. After spending two great nights near Maho Beach, we wanted to stay someplace much quieter, with access to great food and prime beachfront real estate. We found exactly what we were looking for at OBH.

Our room was lovely and spacious, with a patio that was great for relaxation. The bed was comfortable, and my daughter found the pull out extra bed to be comfortable enough. Service at the hotel was also quite friendly and accommodating.

The Orient Beach Hotel also provided access to several beach clubs in the area - most notably the KKO Beach Club in front of the hotel. Continental breakfasts were available at the beach club as part of your overnight stay, though you could order more if you wanted. Beach chairs were also available, and we found it to be a great spot to relax.

Most importantly, by staying at the Orient Beach Hotel we found someplace that we can't wait to return to again and again!

Just got back from a wonderful stay at the Orient Beach Hotel in Saint Martin. This hotel is a hidden gem! The room is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and has a stunning view of the sea. The location is perfect. You can walk to coffee shops, small grocery stores, as well as your choice of almost 10 great restaurants. But what really makes this place special is the staff at the front desk? Keem was so helpful when my husband needed to see a doctor. He phoned the doctor’s office personally and made sure we got to see someone that day. This was truly a godsend. Also, Junior and Saelle, were so helpful with dinner reservations as well as cab rides and airport transfers. Myriam, the general manager, heads a great staff at this hotel. Since we were coming from the United States, we used their New Jersey phone number where Sharon Bennett was so helpful in making the reservation and helped us with immigration forms needed to enter St Martin. This whole trip had an easy button that made it so enjoyable. Book your vacation here and you won’t be disappointed!

We had not been to St Martin before this trip. We arrived on an overcast and windy day, following what seemed like 401 traffic.
We walked into the room, it was clean and spacious. Water was available, the shower was hot, and the walk out to the beach was calling! Paradise!
Restaurants were close by, and the area was perfect for short walks and exploring.
We loved the experience. I would love to return!

Beachfront location.

My husband and I recently returned from another wonderful stay at the Orient Beach Hotel. This is our third stay at this hotel over the past few years and we are looking forward to returning next year. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The views are spectacular! The service provided by the entire team is so welcoming. Special thanks to Myriam for her hospitality and making sure our bed was comfortable. We really appreciate you! We also want to thank the rest of the front desk staff as it seems the entire team goes above and beyond to ensure guests are happy. We love this hotel and the amazing service provided! Can't wait to see you again next year!

We were in room 303, center building, first floor. A view from the second floor would have been nice but we could see the ocean from the balcony. We enjoyed the quiet. We had breakfast daily at KKO, just had the continental included with our package. It was just a short walk into the shopping area with restaurants. The grocery store was well equipped and we did cook a few lunches to save money in the kitchenette.

Quiet, clean, great place to stay right on the beach, staff couldn’t be nicer, will definitely return

This was our 3rd stay at the Orient Beach Hotel in as many years. Our stay was excellent again. We love everything about this lovely small boutique hotel - the cleanliness, the location, the service, the excellent breakfast overlooking the beach and, most importantly, the attentive, friendly and helpful staff. Myriam, Junior and Tim at the front dest are amazing. We have already booked for our return in 2027

Orient Beach Hotel is a gem with a fabulous location at the quieter end of a beautiful stretch of Orient Beach. It's a short walk to all of the shops and restaurants in the village area. The grounds and rooms are immaculate. The included breakfast and beach chairs were a nice bonus. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming and willing to do whatever to make your stay memorable. If you are looking for lowkey, pleasant and relaxing this is the place to stay.

Perfect location. Rooms are large, well appointed and beautifully decorated all with great views. Staff are all friendly and couldn’t be nicer. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choices and options to order eggs (additional charge).
Kudos to general manager Myriam (always smiling!) who knows how to run a first rate hotel. We will definitely return!

Great location & the staff is extremely friendly & helpful. The hotel had arrangements with 4 or 5 of the beach clubs all along the beach, nothing more than 5 minutes. You got free beach lounge & umbrella rental for the day. Free continental breakfast was at the beach club right next door - 1 minute walk. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the local square that had about 10 restaurants. So you don’t need a car rental & the hotel can arrange a taxi for you. Room was spacious & nice. You can’t go wrong staying here while in St. Martin!

Orient Beach Hotel checked all the boxes, beautiful room, easy access to the beach and pool. Breakfast on the beach patio every morning. A short walk to amazing restaurants. Staff couldn’t have been better, we would definitely stay again

We've just returned from Saint Martin where we stayed 6 nights at the Orient Beach Hotel. What a wonderful place! The hotel was clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the calm and relaxation on the beach at KKO beach club and received excellent service from all staff with whom we interacted. The selection of nearby restaurants was excellent and the food was divine. We highly recommend Orient Beach and Orient Beach Hotel and are looking forward to our next holidays.
