Spotlessly clean and comfortable modern rooms with high quality furnishings

Atmospheric bar with very good value wines

Cons:

The rooms were largely devoid of any historic character as a result of the total rebuild of the convent's interior, except for the bar.
Our bedroom was sparsely furnished - perhaps a nod to the building's former use as a convent - a sofa or armchair would have been nice!
Room price extortionate, as are most of the higher end hotels in July - try going out of peak season!

Large room in a great location
Pros:

This hotel was in a great location, ideally located a close walk to Old Town and with many restaurant and bar options even closer too. Our room was spacious and modern with plenty of storage. The hotel even delivered a bottle of wine for our anniversary which was much appreciated.

Cons:

Odd that the shower didn’t have glass on one side, but not a huge deal

Pros:

We liked the building, the proximity to the beach.

Cons:

In the interior garden they left glasses overnight, ashtrays uncleaned, nobody came to ask if you need anything. The bartenders were super busy serving people in the back or the interior.

Pros:

For us the location was perfect, not in the old part but 10 minutes away which is exactly what is needed so that everything is within walking distance. We took the suite which was stunning, large, spacious, bright and quiet. Bluetooth sound system, jacuzzi in a huge bathroom. Breakfast was varied and good overall.

Cons:

The most disappointing part was the comfort of the bed, it was just terrible and hard (it even felt like sleeping on a board). For a suite I had expectations for more amenities, and above all a bottle of water per day. Also for a suite I would expect the TVs to be more advanced and support different apps or casting. The staff had difficulty with English and were not particularly helpful
