Perfekte Lage mitten in der Stadt! Öffentliche Parkhäuser sind wirklich gleich um die Ecke. Der ruhige grüne Innenhof ist wirklich toll nach einem Tag sightseeing. Die Kinder hatten Spaß im Pool, während wir Erwachsenen entspannt Wein auf der Terrasse trinken konnten. Die ganze Anlage ist modern und schön designt. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich. Da wir nicht soviel frühstücken, sind wir aber meist lieber in die nahen Cafés gegangen.

We loved this hotel - it was comfortable, stylish and perfectly located, and every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. We booked a classic double room with garden view for our four-night stay but, on request, were upgraded to a Privilege double room.
In keeping with the rest of the building, the room was tastefully furnished, well maintained and comfortable. The bed and bedding, which included one firm and one softer pillow each, were perfect for us and we were never disturbed by noise overnight. The rooms are soundproofed, but facing the garden rather than the street no doubt helped, as did keeping the patio door onto the terrace overlooking the garden and courtyard closed. We preferred to do this anyway as we had the aircon on overnight. A clever design provided ample wardrobe and storage space tucked away near the door, leaving the main part of the room feeling uncluttered and pretty spacious for such a central location.
Staying here is also super convenient - Torre dos Clérigos, Chapel of Souls and the cathedral are all a short walk away, and there's a great choice of places to eat and drink very close at hand - tascö and the seafood counters at Mercado do Bolhão (both about 5 minutes walk from the hotel) stood out for us.
However, what really defined our stay – and what we hope will bring us back – were the wonderful staff we encountered throughout our visit. From the very warm welcome and lengthy chat about restaurant choices on arrival to hunting down a particular type of tea and fresh milk at midnight, nothing was ever too much trouble.
The hotel was in a great location. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with many options to choose from eggs, fruit, yogurt, sweets, bread etc.. I would consider staying again.
