Exceeded expectations
Pros:

Reward points for sustainability for no room service. Oddly there was t a separate recycling bin

Cons:

Toilet paper was super thin. I’m assuming it’s because of the lake septic.

Pros:

Staff were delightful. Location is wonderful, bar and food handy and good.

Cons:

They had plastic bags as if there was a laundry service. This was my mistake, the information they give states there is a laundry room for guests. There apparently used to be a laundry service, and thus the bags. They should remove all of the bags in the rooms which are marked "laundry service, Name, Room No."

Pros:

Our lake room had a beautiful view. Was abldcto walk to the Main St area stores and restaurants.

Cons:

Our restaurant experience was ok but not great. My drink was empty for quite a while before the server checked on us..and tge table next to us had lovely looking desserts but we were never offered dessert at all. So we went and dessert and a few more drinks elsewhere.

It was an excellent experience and I would stay here again.
Pros:

My room was upgraded to the governor's suite to my surprise upon arrival. It was a beautiful room with a great view of Lake Flower with two decks. The facility was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was so patient and friendly.

Cons:

I will say, I am going to assume that the governor's suite is maybe not utilized often as I couldn't open any windows because of the sheer amount of spiders that inhabited between the screen and the window itself and the amount all over the decks I couldn't sit outside. This is the only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 because I would have LOVED to read a book on that deck but not with the amount of spiders everywhere.

Great location and clean updated facilities. Breakfast package was well worth it. If you use Booking.com be sure you

New room and great lounge and restaurant areas. The Full breakfast included in our package was excellent. Some staff were friendly and knowledgeable. TV options exceptionally good.

Cons:

It was the beginning of the season and some staff were badly undertrained. On a Wednesday the hotel had few guests but front desk still insisted that we and others wait until 4 for check in. We had a wonderful balcony but the chairs were very uncomfortable.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous inside and out the staff was beyond exceptional, very friendly and helpful The food and service and cocktails were amazing.
