Good location. Not worth the price. Tivoli is better.
Pros:

the location was great - close to shops, food hall and all Port cellars

Cons:

The breakfast chef was not good. He made the worst omlettes. Secondly, the breakfast staff seem to always be walking around you whilst you eat. Bar staff were very scarce and sometimes bar was unattended. Worst part was we were put in a room which faced a construction site and each morning were woken up with drilling and building works. As a Marriott Bonvoy member I was disappointed.

Perfect check in, excellent staff

Cons:

The restaurant felt a bit chaotic, almost like it’s run by totally different staff (which may be true). The food itself was nice, but the service wasn’t as we expected after first experiencing the hotel service :)

Estadia memorável.
Pros:

Muito bom. Pequeno almoço excelente. com sortido de qualidade, o que hoje em dia é cada vez mais raro de encontrar nos hoteis. Gostamos igualmente do facto de nos terem dado um upgrade para outro quarto em virtude do que nos tinha sido atribuido ficar nos andares inferiores e ouvirmos o barulho dos carros no exterior. Destaque para a decoração com o estilo inimitável da Nini Andrade Silva. Lindo!!

Uma boa opção em Gaia
Pros:

A arquitetura interna é muito bonita; o atendimento é excelente, bem como a localização. A vista do quarto, de Gaia para Porto era belíssima e de lá acompanhamos a queima de fogos do reveillon. Sempre nos hospedamos em Porto mas dessa vez achamos muito bom ficar em Gaia pois tranquilamente se vai a pé até o outro lado do rio. Bem perto do hotel está o WOW (World of Wine) com vários museus bem estruturados, lojas temáticas, excelentes restaurantes, onde ficamos todo o feriado do dia 01 de janeiro, quando quase nada fica aberto.

Cons:

A iluminação do espelho do banheiro é bem precária. Mesmo tendo espelho com amplificação, ainda é insuficiente para maquiagem sem esforço em pessoa com mais idade. Também não consegui localizar tomada para o secador de cabelo nesse local, apenas no quarto. O café da manhã é muito bom, mas deveria ser mais variado pois fica repetitivo para quem se hospeda por mais dias. Não conseguimos usar a academia porque choveu todos os dias e o acesso à mesma envolve um pequeno trajeto exposto. Eu voltaria a esse hotel, com um pedido para iluminarem melhor o espelho!
