One of the best stays in Dharamshala
Pros:

Being a bit away from the city, it’s relatively quiet. The staff are courteous, the owner is friendly and helpful. The view of the Dhauladhars from the terrace is excellent.

This was my fourth time staying on this property.

Cons:

The food was quite ordinary.

The location is fantastic, right by the river!

Our famaliy stay was fantastic here... The food was served very well according to our needs and most importantly, the staff was very welcoming and co-operative. The rooms were very clean and comfortable too. Perfect place for a family stay!

Comfortable stay with excellent staff and food
Pros:

The hotel has a lovely river running by which sounds lovely, especially at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly: arranged taxi for sight seeing The food was very nice and good value The location is in a quite area and close to a lovely Buddhist temple and gardens where you can spend time and eat as well.

Our stay was a terrible experience due to the hotel’s poor service and lack of attention to basic guest needs.

There was nothing to like about in this property apart from view an only one room.

Cons:

I recently stayed at serene suites and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel does not prioritize customer satisfaction.

A right place to stay.
Pros:

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the food was of excellent quality and they arranged our specific requirements also. The hospitality was top-notch, with the host being exceptionally kind and attentive. The location and view from the rooms are also excellent. Highly recommended.

Cons:

My stay at Serene Suites started smoothly but quickly turned sour. Despite booking a half-board room, I was shocked to discover that essential menu items like fish, mutton, any tandoor items and even naan were unavailable since I booked the room with dinner being included in the price.This meant that I could only get veg items and non tandoor chicken items. When I questioned this, the room service attendant laughed on my face. This was nowhere mentioned.Later, when I had finished eating, the manager apologized and offered to arrange food from a nearby restaurant, but it was too late. While the staff acknowledged their mistake, the lack of transparency and inconvenience left me disappointed. I won't be returning to Serene Suites and can't recommend it.

As the name indicates its serene and up the hill, away from the busy town with a mountain view and a stream near by. but its well connected to the town with the taxi service and two wheeler rental.
