Charming retreat in the heart of La Rochelle.
Pros:

This is a very charming boutique hotel located in the heart of the old port in La Rochelle. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Bath products and other amenities are deluxe. I was on the top floor so it was very peaceful and like being in a cozy nest. Cécile the proprietress is amazingly kind and incredibly helpful. I loved being able to stay in a quiet, clean hotel which was so close to everything. I would highly recommend this property.

Cons:

Nothing it was a great stay.

Great hotel
Pros:

Hotel is small but amazingly well run, very clean and luxurious. The owner was on site and couldn’t be more helpful. I’d definitely stay there again. It is only 2 stars due to it’s size but beats a lot of 4 star hotels I’ve been to.

Fabulous!
Pros:

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Cécile is a wonderful host, answering questions before and during our stay, and messaging to ensure we arrived safely. The hotel is rated 2 stars, but outshines many 4 star hotels I stayed in.
We booked a comfort double room which was very spacious, well laid out and spotlessly clean. We had great sleep thanks to a really comfortable bed with good quality linen as well as shutters which kept the room dark. There are a small number of rooms here which meant that there was no noise at night.
The location is great, very close to the old port and many tourist spots, with many bars and restaurants within a very short walk.
I hope to go back to La Rochelle and if I do I will return to Un Hotel En Ville.

Séjour idéal à La Rochelle !
Pros:

L'emplacement est idéal, on peut tout faire à pied dans le centre-ville.
Cécile est très accueillante et professionnelle.
Le petit déjeuner propose des pains et des confitures extras !
L'hôtel est au calme.

Cons:

Hôtel non accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite.
Porte coulissante dans les WC, pas très étanche et intime ...
Escalier et marches d'accès difficiles.

Pros:

Un petit hôtel calme en plein centre, déco rénovée, tout est propre, la gérante est super arrangeante que ce soit pour l'accès à la chambre en avance dès l'arrivée du train ou pour garder nos bagages jusqu'en fin de journée. On a aussi aimé la chambre confortable, la terrasse sur le toit avec superbe vue et l'accès libre aux boissons chaudes. Nous reviendrons volontiers y séjourner.
