Jardin mort et odeur désagréable
Pros:

Grande chambre et belle salle de bain. Bien équipé et équipements disponibles à l'entrée. Possible de se faire à manger dans le lobby de l'accueil. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut : petit four, micro-onde, plaque de cuisson (sous le comptoir) avec poêlon, chaudron et passoire.

Cons:

Non seulement mon jardin zen était mort, il y avait également une odeur très désagréable dans la chambre.
Pour une nuit supplémentaire, nous avons changé de chambre et il y avait la même odeur. On dirait une odeur de sueur. Aussi, comme toutes les chambres au Japon, le revêtement de sol est en tapis. Comme c'est un hôtel "Self check-in" il n'y a du personnel qu'après 16 h et il parle/comprend très mal l'anglais. Cette décision de ne pas avoir de personnel fait que la consigne bagages n'est pas surveillée. On laisse ses bagages à l'entrée, verrouillés par un fil de fer à combinaison personnelle. Pour terminer, les crochets dans les armoires sont mal fixés et se décrochent constamment.

Pros:

部屋がおしゃれ。コンパクトだけど必要なものは全て部屋もしくはフロントに揃ってます。ベッドの寝心地も良かった。

Cons:

細かいけれど、洗面所の壁（天井に近い部分）にうっすらホコリが、、、たまたま見上げたら見つけました。せっかくステキなHOTELだからそのあたりもキレイだとなお良いなと思います。

Spacious and gorgeous room, helpful staff.
Pros:

We loved the small courtyard in our room, as well as how spacious the room, bed, and bathroom was. The small entry inside our room with counter and closet space was also really nice. The staff was kind and courteous and quick to answer questions and help with de odorizing our room when we checked in. Great location for us, we enjoyed the proximity to the bus and Nara line, and staying in a more quiet area of Kyoto.

Cons:

When we checked in, there was a strong, bad odor in our room that couldn’t be aired out or freshened with spray, but the hotel was quick to come in and help deodorize the room for us. Please note that the hotel can’t accept luggage forwarding as the front staff isn’t present 24/7. This wasn’t an issue for us as we just picked up and dropped off our luggage at a Yamato using a taxi. I do not recommend trying to wheel your luggage through Kyoto, the taxis were not too expensive from Yamato to the hotel and vice versa.
