Room and location are very nice and worth it, just don't expect much in the way of amenities
Pros:

The room was a very nice size with a nice view of the lake and a good sized mall next door, it wasn't in the tourist center, but it wasn't too far away and also was an easy ride from the train station, so everything room related was good.

Cons:

We paid extra for club level lounge access and there was no lounge available. They brought some small desserts and some drinks to our room in place of that but it was very underwhelming and there was no access to coffee or drinks throughout the day, very disappointing and should have been refunded. The breakfast was very average and completely chaotic, nobody was handling seating and it was just a mess.

Pros:

1. Enjoy a new 5 stars hotel but pay less than in big cities
2. Like the breakfast: most are Chinese but enjoy western style food
3. Local people think it is too far from old town, and most of visitors drive themselves. You have to call taxi yourself but they help if you need, and it is pretty easy to visit each place by taxi.
4. Local food is really delicious and cheap.

Overall good for Kaifeng
Pros:

Room is clean and bed is comfy. The housekeep staff are very friendly. it accept international bank cards which is always great in China.

Cons:

It is a good option for Kaifeng but I would not agree it is money well spent. the location is not ideal. away from all the touristy spots. Hotel changed the price upon check in
