Refreshingly warm hospitality.
Pros:

The entire facilities looks new and clean. The staff were exceptionally warm, especially the front desk and the Chinese/Japanese waiter at the 10th floor.

Cons:

The TV lacks Netflix and Youtube. Also a Tamil language channel will be necessary for the 3.5 millions Tamils in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. Lots of Tamils from this region travels to Yogjakarta to visit the Borobudur and Paramban Temple. A hotel that caters to this ethnic group will be welcome from the Tamil diaspora.

Overall relaxing because we only spend 1 night before we proceed to Surabaya
Pros:

i love the location of the hotel just outside of Malioboro street. its within 5 mins walk. Very convenient to food stalls and public transport.

Cons:

The hotel is a little run down for Novotel standard. The hot and cold water tap in the shower is faulty.

Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal. Als ich einen frühen Ausflug hatte und erst 10:10 beim Frühstück war (schließt um 10), hat man mir trotzdem noch Kaffee und ein Omelett gemacht. Das war klasse.
Der Pool ist auch schön gross. Leider könnte es mehr Schatten geben.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es ist recht dunkel gehalten, die Fenster schließen nicht richtig, so dass Wärme und Straßenlärm fast ungehindert in die Zimmer kommen.
Das Furnier der Möbel blättert teilweise ab.

ひさしぶりのインドネシア
Pros:

TUGU駅から徒歩圏内にあってアクセスが便利です。
マリオボロ通りから少し入った所にあるため、比較的静かです。

以前はJalan　SudirmanにあったNovotelを愛用していましたが、
施設の老朽化が進んでいるのは否めませんでした。
こちらのホテルの方が建物が新しくモダンな印象を受けます。
朝食のバリエーションも増えています。

Cons:

部屋にスーツケースを置くスペースの真横に衣類をつるすのにちょうどよい縦長のスペースが
あったのですが、ハンガーをかける横棒がありませんでした。そもそもハンガーが部屋に
全くありませんでした。スーツケースにしまっていた服のしわを伸ばすことができなくて残念でした。
