BLUE DIAMOND 8B Hotel & Spa - HCM

Very clean hotel, friendly staff always willing to help! Short walk into the centre with lots of amenities close to the hotel. The hotel has a breakfast on the 10th floor and the pool looked incredibly inviting. Very good stay here.

I paid for a premium room because my wife wanted the Jacuzzi tub after renting the room. It did not work and water leaked everywhere. They told me day after day they were going to get it repaired, but they would wait until evening time when it was time for bed for them to come and work on it

My observations in nearly chronological order:
1) They don't charge the Expedia agree amount. When you arrive they want a "surcharge" that they cannot explain & is written nowhere. Not tax. We have a company in VN and I know the laws and taxes. This was a straight surcharge. He had to get out his calculator to assess how much, so certainly not agreed in advance.
2) Rooms stink. Mix of mold and smoke. People smoke all over this place. Signs are posted but nobody cares.
3) Rooms are disgusting. 5 mins of walking around and my white socks were nearly black.
4) They do not use fitted sheets on the bed. It is just a top sheet on a mattress. This was done day after day, not an anomaly. So I slept nearly fully clothed because I didn't want my skin touching the mattress, because inevitable the lightly tucked in bottom sheet will move and you'll be on a bare mattress. So gross.
5) No windows. The online photos show some kind of thing over the bed that could be a thick shade, well, it isn't a curtain or shade. Just a foam wrapped in fabric and glued to the well. So the headboard is basically an uncleanable piece of foam. Mine was heavily stained.
6) This is not really the "Nicecy Hotel" despite the sign . Everything is branded a few different hotel names inside and even on the marquee of the building is old name. They keep changing the name because it is a dump.
7) Cleaner used my toothbrush. It was wet after 12 hrs outside.
8) Cleaner left door unlocked all day.

レタントンにあるので、食事や飲みの場所へのアクセスが良いです。部屋は綺麗ですが、冷蔵庫が壊れたり、時計が止まっていたり。あと、シャンプーとボディソープが同じ入れ物で、どっちがどっちかわからなかった。あと小さいアリが気になった。スタッフは丁寧です。良いホテルですよ。

It is not a good hotel,very noisy and it is not so clean. I saw blood on the mattress cover and I showed it to them. They knew that there was construction near the hotel but they gave me a room next to it.
The bed is also not comfortable. I think it is not a good choice to book it.

The Blue Diamond Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City was a wonderful place for me to stay. The location is great because it's close to well-known restaurants and sights. With nice features like free Wi-Fi and a minibar, the rooms were tidy and cozy. There was breakfast included, and it was a good choice. The entire trip was pleasant because of the helpful and kind staff. I would unquestionably suggest this hotel to both pleasure and business tourists.

The hotel provided limited of tissues and toilet paper. We were unable to have breakfast while we were there due to the cafeteria is being renovated.

Very good location, near Nguyen Hue walking street. Room is clean and tidy. Morning Buffet is full fill of foods. Set Lunch Menu is perfect with Vietnamese Cuisine Dishes. I would love the rooftop pool with nice view and refreshing air. The best selection for the Business Trip

A really pleasant small hotel in the Korean and Japanese area of District 1, Ho Chi Minh. An easy and direct walk of 1 klm down to Ben Than Market. The hotel beds are brilliantly comfortable, the bathrooms are nice (The shower is in a bath). We chose a room with no window, it was dark, quiet and we slept like babies. Food and coffee is on the street everywhere you look on weekday mornings. We did not try the hotel buffet but it looked Ok.
The staff were at all times, helpful, considerate and obliging.

Front office staff was very attentive. They even knew my birthday and made a special fruit plate for me.

I chose the hotel as it is located not too far from the university where I was lecturing and it suited my budget. The room is comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly. The location is very good - especially for visitors to Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel offers all meals - but it is situated almost in the centre of a popular nightlife part of the city with dozens of restaurants and bars featuring different cuisines. And it is a short walk (10 minutes) to the historic centre centred on HCMC's Notre Dame cathedral.

Great location. first they set me in a room was literally feel wet due to the moisture and damn. I could see the wall paint slip off due to water damage. I asked for a room change and they did. It's much better after that.

Stayed here for two weeks while I was lecturing nearby. Clean. comfortable room - good value for money. But staff were very helpful and caring. I wasn't feeling well one day and the breakfast manager conjured up a lovely rice porridge for me. The hotel is on a lively street with a variety of restaurant choices. I will be back.

We had a great stay at 8B Hotel, the room was clean and we enjoyed the pool. Location is good and near everything around district 1. The staff member were very helpful during our stat. The breakfast was fair. The only downside was that they didn’t have shower towel in the room.
