Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Service and Lack of Empathy

Our experience at Bridge Express Hotel was absolutely unacceptable. Our booking was from 28/September, supposedly until 01/October but we cut our stay short. From start to finish, it was a nightmare. The staff member, Winshie, was not only unhelpful but also rude and dismissive. Despite making it very clear upon booking that I was traveling with my 75-year-old mother, who suffers from chronic rheumatoid arthritis, they still placed us on the third floor of a building with no elevators. Watching my mom struggle up and down those stairs was heartbreaking and completely avoidable.

Even after we politely requested to be moved to a lower floor and explained our situation, our concerns were completely ignored. It’s shocking how little regard the staff have for guests’ well-being or basic comfort. The reception showed no kindness or empathy, especially toward my elderly mother—an absolute disgrace for anyone working in hospitality.

On top of that, the parking situation was terrible, and the staff were utterly inattentive to any guest needs. This hotel has no sense of customer service whatsoever.

Do not waste your money or time staying here. The service is appalling, the staff lack professionalism, and the overall experience was beyond disappointing.

The bed’s are alright and the warm ambiance lighting definitely carries the room.

Cons:

The bathroom is old and honestly, I don’t even know what to say other than meh. It’s a hotel room that you’ll expect with a budget— anyways — there was a problem with the smell. We had three rooms booked and two of the three rooms smell like poop! Seriously what’s with budget hotels here in the PH having a smell problem. In conclusion, it’s okay.
