Прекрасное расположение,красивый и просторный номер,доброжелательный персонал. Много ресторанов вокруг-особенно понравился ирландский в 3х минутах пешком. Да и сам городок прекрасен-гулять там сплошное удовольствие!

Location. Bright open spaces. Terrific public spaces.

We loved how close the hotel was to all of the shops at restaurants at the wharf. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Great hotel, it’s similar to Marriott moxy hotel. Nice modern interior and rooms, but they are on the smaller side and they remove the mini fridge and microwave. And replaced that space with larger common areas and a restaurant

Great location in Newport! The bed was comfy. A cute room. I enjoyed the coffee in the lobby and that they provided you with a reusable water bottle. Can’t say it would be worth paying full price but we got a fantastic price towards the end of the off season.

We payed a very high price for a terrible room: very small, no closet, just a rack no dresser, drawers under the bed. towels were very thin and smelled like they were burnt. yes there is a valet but no help with bags. there was very bad lighting, especially in the shower. do not expect to put on makeup in this room. Careful :gym is very small minimal equipment. no breakfast -coffee in lobby. I would not book this hotel again, especially if you like a finer level of hotel experience.

Great location. Staff extremely help and professional. Room was very clean, well kept and accessible. Location is walking distance to the historical downtown attractions, shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent value for the money, reserved the Marina king with their "Newport for Northeasterners" promo and had a corner room with beautiful views of the harbor and sunset. I requested a room on the 3 floor which they accommodated, it was Room 302 and it was beautiful. The room wasn't large, but the space was very well designed. The bed was comfortable, the room darkening shades were fabulous and the decor was nautical and well done. Loved the fragrance of their shampoo and soaps, great stay and so conveniently located; would definitely recommend and return. Staff was lovely and the in and out valet parking was so easy.

Fantastic. I love The Hammetts hotel. I slept like a baby. The rooms are immaculate as are the common spaces. I studied in the foyer and it was perfect. I will be staying there until I buy a home in Newport. The valet parking is so wonderful. In a previous review I appreciated the valet with the elevator. It’s the way to experience the City of Newport.

I have visited this place multiple times over the last few years. In 2025, my friends and I opted for a different hotel because of budget constraints, but it turned out to be a less than ideal choice. This year, we returned to Hammett's, and our experience was significantly improved. The hotel is stunning and equipped with modern conveniences. The staff demonstrates an exceptional level of customer care, and the proximity to downtown is unbeatable. Although the rooms are somewhat compact, they utilize the available space very effectively. The amenities are abundant, making it an ideal home away from home while in Newport, RI.
