Bel établissement au bord de la lagune
Pros:

Grande chambre propre, emplacement directement sur la lagune, kayak et paddle gratuit

Cons:

Pas de parking mais aucun souci pour parquer au bord de la route, donc finalement ce n’est pas un vrai problème. Service un peu lent au petit-déjeuner.

Pros:

Lots of choice for breakfast and the food was good quality.

Cons:

Poor Value for Money: The nightly rate did not reflect the quality of the accommodations. The "double beds" were undersized and uncomfortable.

Maintenance Issues: The whole room is in desperate need of refurbishment. Specifically, the floor tiles were loose (a potential safety hazard) and there was only one available electric socket for the entire room.

Sleep Quality: Sleeping was very uncomfortable due to a loud plastic sheet placed under the top linen.

Privacy & Security Concerns: My privacy was compromised by another guest flying a drone directly outside my bedroom window. Despite this being a clear intrusion, the staff failed to intervene. I was forced to confront the guest myself to stop the behavior.

Summary: I expected a much higher standard for the price paid. Significant improvements in maintenance and guest management are required. Where is the money going to in this hotel??

Bakal ist ein Muss, Casabakal ist sehr schön, wenn man das passende Zimmer hat.
Pros:

Supertoll: Der See, der Steg, das Frühstück war das Beste unserer Reise, Kajaks for free. Das Personal war sehr, sehr freundlich.

Circa 10 min zu Fuß Richtung Zentrum vom Hotel aus kommt auf der linken Seite ein sehr, sehr gutes, günstiges Fischrestaurant. :-)

Cons:

Wir hatten das 4er Zimmer im Haupthaus, was leider sehr, sehr alt und unrenoviert ist und überhaupt nicht zum schicken Rest passt. Nach dem ersten Eindruck der Lobby und dem Rest der Anlage bei der Ankunft waren wir dementsprechend unglücklich mit dem Zimmer. Wir mochten ohne Badelatschen nicht duschen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat nicht gepasst. Für uns war es ins Zentrum zu Fuß zu weit (mindestens 30 min) , ist aber empfehlenswert, sich das lustige Treiben auf dem Platz anzuschauen!

Good , Bacalar is beautiful!
Pros:

Absolutely loved the location! And use of kayaks and fab little pool! Had an amazing boat trip too!

Cons:

I found the staff quite abrupt and not that helpful compared with everywhere else we stayed in Mexico!

Bacalar is a magical spot and being on the lagoon is necessary so the only way to do tha in comfortable and clean amenit
Pros:

It was clean and beautiful and in the perfect location on the lagoon

Cons:

I wish there was a common area to relax on our rainy days. As we were glamping we did not want to stay in our bungalow

Did not like this hotel, holes in the walls, sewage smell…
Pros:

The location was great.

Cons:

We had a loft room and it was basically like a shed on the beach. With 1 cm holes in wooden shutters and a hole in a wall. We didn’t use light in the evening, as we didn’t want to feed mosquitos, that would fly through these holes. The sink was in the room (not in the bathroom). In the morning a strong unpleasant sewage smell came into the room. I hope that the hotel is connected to a proper sewage and are not dumping it to the lake, destroying in a process. If you want to protect this unique place, may be do some more research than I have done. Personally, I felt like I paid $200 to sleep in a shed on the beach with holes in the walls… if we were staying more than one night, I would have asked for a refund or room change.

La proximidad a la laguna. El estar tan cerca de esta hace muy placentera la estadía y genera un ambiente muy acogedor.

Petit déjeuner vraiment très bien beaucoup de choix
Très bien placé au bord du lagoon c’était vraiment beau et mignon

Cons:

Notre lodge été mal placé et étions en bord de route, très bruyant car beaucoup de passage voitures motos etc … tout les lodges ne sont pas placés en bordure de route je pense que nous n’avons pas eu de chances

L'accès direct à la lagune, la propreté, la gentillesse du monsieur à la réception.
Un restaurant et des activités gratuites.

Cons:

La wifi n'était pas bonne dans notre chambre (h15).
Le service au restaurant très lent même quand il y avait que 2 tables.
Avant mon arrivée et au check-in, on m'a signalé que je ne pouvais pas faire de paddle le mercredi alors que tous les autres clients pouvaient ainsi que les clients extérieurs ... Très étrange.
Lors du nettoyage de la chambre nos serviettes de douches propres ont été posées sur les toilettes ce qui n'est pas hygiénique.

Es un paraíso relajante al pie de la laguna de tonos azules.
Pros:

El acceso a la Laguna es espectacular.
La comida muy buena y saludable.

Cons:

Una mañana se descompuso el dispensador de agua caliente y no hubo manera de que calentaran agua para una taza de te.

Tolle Lage direkt an der Lagune, eigener Bootssteg und tolle Segeltour mit Jonh und Pepo. Kostenlose Kajaks & SUPs beim hilfsbereiten Mario, glasklares Wasser in tollen Farben, Nähe zu den Cenotes, super leckeres Essen & Getränke

Cons:

Bungalow mit Pools liegen in der 2. Reihe, sehr verbaut. Pool war eiskalt, auch die Wärmefunktion brachte nichts. Insofern haben wir ihn gar nicht wirklich nutzen können, was etwas ärgerlich war. An zwei Stellen regnete es leider durchs Dach & Betten hätten etwas größer sein können

Beautiful access to the lagoon and common spaces!
Pros:

I liked that it had it's own lagoon access, guests could use kayaks & paddle boards with no issue, and the breakfast was good. Staff was really nice!

Cons:

I thought the bathroom of the glamping sites was a little bit closer. It made it uncomfortable to go to the restroom at night. There was "stuff"/dust fallin g from the roof or a/c of the room. So I had to ask for a change of pillow sheets and sleep with my head towards the base of the bed. Also, there was vegetation growing on the inside edges of the glamping(some vine weeds). I definitely think they should give more maintenance to these type of rooms.
